When my home connectivity was at the 500MB level I bought this to replace a far too old series-N wireless NIC that came with my refurbished win10 pro PC. The device was plug and play and it's drivers worked immediately giving me top speeds at Ookla speed test. Excellent wireless NIC for the price. I highly recommend this one.

Like others have said I would steer clear. I purchased this for my Linux arcade and it took a couple hours of research to get this working under Ubuntu and it worked great for 1 month. Just died today all on it’s own and does not even light up anymore. Of course my return window literally closed yesterday. Good thing it was only $13.

Works great on Linux when you load the driver manually. Do a search for the chipset and follow the instructions.
