This achiote powder works really well. It gives food a nice natural color and the flavor is mild, not too strong. I use it mostly for rice and meats, and a little goes a long way. Good quality and very easy to use. Would buy again.

Awesome quality color and subtle flavor. Perfect to make my achiote olive oil, for soups, on burgers and steaks and chicken. Good stuff.

I was very satisfied with the freshness and clarity of flavor in this achiote powder. If you've ever tried to grind your own achiote from seeds, you know they are ROCK HARD and you can't even crush them with a pepper grinder. The solution is to buy pre-ground if you don't have your own spice grinder. Even though it's not as brilliantly fresh, this particular product is great. The aroma is great and it's absolutely necessary for some recipes, like Conchita Pibil. It adds a great floral, herbal, sweet bitterness that can't be replicated. Love it!

Good quality, but on the expensive size, a bit too much, even if there is the quantity. I did not need too much though. Good smell, seems to be freshly ground at least. Color is intense. Great to make sazon.
