Extreme Immunity 100% Pure Immune Support / Two Month Supply, 300 Gram Container.

I received this but am returning it. Its single ingredient, not listed on Amazon, is "serum albumin". Look it up; it's from blood. I assume they use cow's blood as human blood would probably be too expensive. So if you're vegetarian or don't eat cows for any reason, you might want to avoid this. I'm trying some herbs instead! I just cannot imagine ingesting a blood product no matter how much better it makes me feel. I hope Amazon updates the description to list the ingredient.

In Oct. & Nov. of 2011, I had two of the worst, longest lasting colds I ever had in my 55+ years. I started taking this in Dec. 2011, and the last 4 months have been cold & flu free, in spite of being around all sorts of sniffling, sneezing people, even some with the norovirus. I'll admit, at the same time I started this product, I also began taking a handful of other immunity boosting supplements as well, so I can't say for certain that this product has helped me all on its own, but I'm not about to risk going off of any thing to find out! I haven't changed anything regarding my diet or use of hand sanitizers/handwashing habits, so I'm quite certain that the supplements take the credit. (your results may vary)- Here's to many more months (hopefully years) of cold & flu free living! (of course now that I've said all this, I'll probably get a cold tomorrow!!) I'll try to remember to post future updates.Here's an update on 5/5/12:Just got over a whopper of a cold/flu bug- my wife didn't want to take the powder, and she's still sick after 2 and a half weeks- I jacked my intake up to 3 level scoops per day when I felt the first symptoms and I was over the bug and back to work in 4 days- no exaggeration! I'm sold on this stuff!!Another update on 1/21/13:A month ago, felt like I was getting sick- upped my dosage and felt better the next day! Shortly after, I ran out of my supply- about a week later, got a nasty, nasty cold and still fighting it after a week. Maybe all of this is coincidental, but I'm beginning to sense a pattern here. I'm gonna make sure I never run out of this stuff again!!

I read all the great reviews on this product and ordered it to try. I wanted to take it daily but find it difficult so far to do so. Although some people think this is tasteless, I find it to be a really bad taste that is hard to cover up in juices or yogurt, etc. The best place is a smoothie but it changes the taste of that also and not for the better. I am now trying to add flavorings and cinnamon to the drinks to see if that will help. If I can't make it work, I will just take it when I feel that I'm getting sick.

I bought it and only took it for a few days, because I found out that it's processed from blood. My questions are: What kind of blood? Under what conditions? Is it filtered for disease and harmful microbes?I don't have any technical information about this product, and I know that people swear by it, but it scares me a little. Can't say yes or no that this is a great product. It does require mixing and that is the issue. If not mixed thoroughly, then it is "clumpy" when you drink it. I can neither support or deny the quality of this product.
