RubiesDC Super Villains Child Riddler Costume

I bought this costume for my son for our local mother-son superhero dance. We opted to go as classic Batman villains instead of heroes this year. The costume comes with the top (which is a one-piece unit designed to look like the jacket, tie, and a black dress shirt), mask, and hat. It does not include pants, but finding black pants was easy and my son will be able to wear his pants to school so that wasn’t a problem. The Riddler cane he is holding was a purchase from a trip we took to a theme park.The top looked very good for being one piece. It really looked like 3 layers and it fit him perfectly. I was able to iron it without damaging it and the creases from being packed away vanished quickly. The hat could be a little bigger, but he loved it and it stayed on his head just fine even through dancing.As others have stated, the eye holes in the mask were too small for my big guy. The mask is perfect and sturdy so it was worth taking the extra time with an Exacto Knife to cut them a little bigger. Classic Riddler costumes are hard to come by, and this one was definitely worth it.

The jacket is nice- not the best and not the worst. It definitely help up for a couple of events plus trick or treating. But the bowler hat completed the outfit and looked amazing. Also, the mask was TINY. I tried cutting the eye holes bigger but it wasn’t happening so plan ahead with another mask!

Great costume my son loved it for a birthday party we went to and had lots of compliments on it.

Totally bummed it didn't come with pants?!(I bought a black pair of sweatpants) For the price you figure it would have been a full costume, also the mask it comes with wouldn't fit any ones head, it's so small I cut bigger holes in it so he could see while I took a picture. Yet another costume I am going to just paint the mask onto. I am glad I read the reviews first and knew it ran small so I grabbed the size bigger and it has just enough room in it to fit a warm shirt under it. The material is misleading in the picture, it looked like it would have been a velvety one like the Harley Quinn costume is but its a super thin shiney material. I bought three costumes from this company and only one fit according to their size charts. Take my word for it, rely on the reviews not the size chart! I can't say I will ever buy from them again but you live and you learn.

Fabric is nice and good quality only thing is the sizes run very small. I bought a size 10-12 for my 9'year old who is medium built and the sleeves won't even pass his arms. It felt like he was trying a size 4-6! The hat was my favorite item, but only wished the sizes run a lot larger or true to size. I would suggest to go 2-3 sizes up. If your child is average or medium height and weight for his or her age.

He needed a book character costume for school and loves villains. Hat was too small sort of balanced on top of his head. Mask was tiny like for a doll. Shirt ran a lil small too luckily my lil one fit in it- Overall it good job done. Maybe I should’ve ordered a bigger size. Quality was good - order up in size.

I gave 4 stars, because I didn't realize it didn't come with matching pants. I was torn with which size to buy after reading several reviews. My son is 7 and is slim. In the end I decided to order a large just in case the medium ran small. Glad I ordered a size up. It is very fitting and is all sewn together. The large was perfect with room to spare. The mask fit my 3 year old, but was too tight for an older child..Overall very happy with the color and quality. Hope this helps.

Arrived quickly. The jacket and hat were fine, however the mask was too small and I had to go out and buy another one.

Great costume, son loved it. Shipping was really fast, only problem was that it was made very small. With daily clothes my son usually takes a size small or medium and the medium was really tight.

-One Piece only Top part of the costume (Velcro at back)-Fabric torn/shredded at the centre front after one try on (fits the child well)-eye mask incredibly small and un-usable
