What are the two small plastic tags for?

Not sure what the tags at the back of the drain cover is for, I have my drain cover pushed hard against the wall and over the drain. The tags at the back give stability against the wall and it stays in place even in high wind conditions. Works for me in my particular situation.

My drain has raised cement sides. Will this fit on my drain. It measures 12x14 outside of raised side.

I think you may have a problem. The drain cover is 12” x 10” splaying out to 11.5”
