Excellent miniature
Very nice mini 1911. Though it costs a bit more,1000% better than the GOAT gun version as far as quality and accuracy to the real thing. The only negative I saw appearance wise was the brass pins, but a dab of Birchwood Casey Brass Black took care of that. One caveat, if you field strip it, when you remove the slide stop, the spring and plungers between the slide stop and thumb safety are not restrained, so control them so they don't go flying, then remove them. To re-assemble, put the slide assembly and slide stop back into place, then put the spring and plungers back in from the rear, then replace the thumb safety to get everything back together.

Fantastic Desktop Fidget Toy and Display Piece for Enthusiasts
As someone who appreciates mechanical objects and models, this miniature M1911 kit was an instant draw. I got it as a fun, small project and a unique display item for my desk, and it's been great for that purpose. The all-metal construction gives it a satisfying weight and feel, far better than a plastic model. The 1:2.05 scale is neat – small enough to be a desktop piece but large enough to appreciate the details. The building process was an enjoyable challenge; it's a true model kit requiring focus and careful handling of small parts. It was a satisfying project, and the result is a very cool, functional (non-shooting, of course) model with moving parts that are fun to fidget with. I'm docking one star because the instructions are quite small and can be a little tricky to interpret, and some of the tiny pins and springs require a delicate touch and good lighting to assemble properly. It's not a toy for a young child. However, this is a fantastic kit for a model enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for an intricate and rewarding build that results in a great conversation piece.

Suprisingly realistic
This little model looks surprisingly realistic, from the coloring to the action and safety. If it wasn't for the size, it'd fool most people at a glance. The rounds actually cycle with the slide and the safety works. It doesn't actually fire, of course, and the barrel is even blocked such that you can't see the round looking down the barrel. However, you can disassemble it which is pretty cool. It's a little expensive for a toy model with little real world use. However, with the impressive level realism in a smaller than normal size, I feel it's still a reasonable value for an enthusiast.

Fun and Well-Made Miniature Replica
This little model is a great tribute to one of the most famous designs in history. It’s solidly built from die-cast metal and comes with a removable magazine and a handful of small dummy rounds. I wasn’t expecting this much functionality for the size, but it’s all there. You can cycle the action, remove the slide and barrel, and see how the parts work together. Even the grip safety is functional. It's a little stiffer than the full-size version would be, but that's part of the charm when working with miniatures. If you like military collectibles, scale models, or just appreciate a detailed piece you can actually interact with, this one’s a lot of fun.

Fun toy, but expensive.
This is a very cool little fidget toy. Be aware, it sacrifices some usability for accuracy, but it is still very fun to use the slide. It's hard to pull the trigger and grip safety at the same time since the model is so small, but it is very accurate to the actual weapon. It comes with six small bullets, and it doesn't fire, nor does it slide and chamber another round by pulling the trigger, but it does eject the bullet when you rack the slide. It is pricey, but it's likely the best model you'll get, you can't find them much cheaper than this. It feels like full metal, which somewhat justifies the price, but it still feels a bit costly. Overall it's an amazing little gadget though, and if you have busy hands and like guns this is the product for you.

Hours of entertainment
I ordered this as a birthday gift for my brother-in-law who is an avid gun collector. My husband "had" to inspect it thoroughly when it came in and now I've got to order him one because he loved this so much. This model has all the machinations of an actual gun. It is realistic in operation. We are impressed with the mechanics. The pelican case has functional closure tabs, foam inserts molded to the gun and clip, and a pivoting handle. The faux ammunition is easy to load, the clip fits well, and the trigger is smooth to pull. Once you pull the trigger (because there is no firing mechanism), you can action the gun and it will eject the round as if had been spent and load another round until the magazine is empty. When the magazine is fully emptied, the slide locks back just like a real gun would. Due to the small parts, this is not recommended for younger children because it is a choking hazard. Definitely worth the purchase price.

Held together with cheap glue & pins
Held together with cheap glue & pins. Fell apart & into pieces within less than a day, which is especially disappointing after an initial satisfactory examination. Not worth the price.
