It works
My bathroom door got kicked in and the door jamb was done for. This was easy to install and works well. It doesn’t look great, but it’s a good temporary fix.

Awesome Simple made well **special bit**
If you’re looking for your door reinforcement this item is perfect it’s quite long, so provide extra security, especially with a 2 1/2 inch screws provided. It will also close the gaps in your door to prevent any kind of prying. Just make sure there’s a gap enough for it. I installed this product over the existing plate. The plate seems well-built while still being light and the hardware provided is great. **** you will need a special bit in the shape of a square to use the hardware provided. I’m guessing it’s like a safety bit. ******

Simple yet useful
Used this as a filler to straighten a doorframe. My door latch set wore out prematurely because of excessive space to to strike plate. This moved the strike plate closer by quarter inch.

Wasn’t sure if it would work due to the damage, but it fits great! The door feels new again and it took very minimal energy/time to install

YES It works for what I needed it for
I got this because my bedroom door will not latch closed cause the latch is too far from the strike plate I installed this and it filled that gap slightly but it was just enough that the door now closes and locks. It also feels a lot more reinforced and stronger. BEFORE YOU BUY mine didnt come witha bit and i recomened using a impact driver you can use a regular drill but impact is easier. The screws use a small/medium sized Robertson bit basically a little square. It DOES NOT supply you with one you must have one so you can drill in the screws.

Works great
Used to fix a kicked in bathroom door. Worked great for me. You may have to mortise out the area slightly to get the door to close normally. I had to remove a 1/16 inch from the area to make it fit correctly.

Sturdy
This door insert has been really nice to put in place of a broken door frame until I can replace the frame. It's very sturdy, fits and works well for what I needed.
