Gorgeous edition! and of course, an amazing start to a dystopian type fantasy tale. I think this series appeals equally to women and men. Great worldbuilding and a nice comradery with supporting cast and strong relationships/found family situation develops later in the book. Definitely takes you through all the emotions with plenty of action and political plotting. Darrow is a very strong, relatable main character. Determined, but not dark. Yes, there is romance in this series, but it is slow to build and is not the center of the story.

this collectors book is so perfect. first off, the cover is the most beautiful art, and so high quality. so much art in the first few pages too. and the paper itself is so buttery soft. the whole thing is a 10/10. if you have a red rising fan in your life, this is an absolute must-have

It's a beautiful edition, the materials are fantastic, the cover and back cover illustrations are incredible, and the binding is excellent, with no issues. As for the book itself, it's absolutely worth reading; it's a truly unforgettable experience.

Red Rising became my OBSESSION last year and when this edition came out I knew I had to have it. Came in such good quality (Saran wrapped so it was protected during shipping) and looks even more stunning in person.

10/10 book never been big on reading but imma need to get the other two books. Haven’t even finished it yet but I only have about 8 chapters left.

Beautiful edition! The art is very well done, and the paper has a really nice feel - it leans towards a warmer hue, nice balance between texture and floppiness. Many books today with painted spines have stiff paper, this isn’t like that. The typeset is nice and clear. I really hope they continue the series in this format.

Beautiful book. It feels well made and the art on the box and cover looks amazing. It was delivered wrapped in plastic and decently packaged from Amazon. I got mine on sale for $35 plus tax. It's a great addition for first time Red Rising readers and collectors alike.

This is my favourite book that I own. The details and the overall beauty of this book and slip cover are incredible. I have a growing collection of books and try to get special editions when available. This is hands down my favourite. The actual story is incredible. I’ve been a person who primarily reads fantasy with a dash of Romantasy when the source material interests me. Never been the biggest fan of sci-fi, not because I’m adverse but I had yet to find one to enthrall me. Enter Red rising. I don’t want to spoil anything but I’m currently reading book 5 of 7 (book 7 red god is hopefully coming out 2026). This book was the gate way drug I didn’t know I needed. Heavy on the school vibes this book leans YA-ish but set you up for a series that quickly becomes so much larger and full blown space opera. The hype around this book an series are 100% warranted.

This special addition is absolutely gorgeous. From the case to the cover to the back cover, it’s all so high-quality and very beautiful.

Awesome book! Excellent art and high quality build! However, how the book was packed was shocking, it was just in a box without any padding - it could've easily been damaged if the box was crushed. Considering I had this shipped from the US all the way to NZ and this is a collector's item type of book I would've thought they would've taken better care in packing it. The slip case corners were dented but not too much that it's detrimental but it is very disappointing to see. Actually worth buying this from a different shop that specializes in books and knows how to take care of them when shipping.
