This plays amazing, little quiet in volume but just use headphones, It charges fast, and the screen is amazing, also when playing a dvd it asks for a parental code, the one that opened mine was 0000, and the way to plug that into the system is the remote. But yes this was really amazing!

Price is great. This is a very nice player. You can hook it to your tv with AV cables, it has memory so it keeps your place. Lightweight. Just all around, very nice. I like to rent DVD's and CD's from the library and this is perfect. No bluetooth for earbuds, but you can wear corded earplugs. Good buy.

We have had this player for just about 3 years now, and compared to other portable DVD players we have had over the last years, this one is fairly durable. It is used daily as my son with special needs likes to watch a video with his meals, so it helps keep him engaged during meal time or if he has to wait at the table while I finish making his meal. It also has tolerated some mild messiness with being used with food and drink around it, so the inevitable crumbs and slight accidental spills have made their way onto the surface. I am able to wipe it down with an antimicrobial wipe and then dry it with a paper towel and it is ready to go. I keep a napkin over the surface of the knobs when my son is sitting with it to help keep any crumbs or drips off. Over time it has started to break down with the constant use and exposure to food, the screen no longer stands up on its own and has to be propped up from behind, and now the battery won’t hold a charge to last through the amount of time it takes to eat a meal, so we have to plug it back in to finish, so it would not do us much good for traveling and using in a restaurant at this point in its age, so we will need to buy another one for future trips. But, compared to units we have had over the years, this has been one of the better ones. We like the screen size, not too small and not too big to be clunky. I plan to buy another one soon to replace this dying one, but wanted to report its durability now that we have had it for 3 years.

Player came in a very nice package in 2 days. Looks made very well not cheap. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GOOD WARRANTY. Works as described. VERY SATISFIED. RECOMMENDED.I tested it and here are my conclusions:POSITIVE:-Battery life fully charged was 3 hours 20 min with continues DVD Playback [50% loudness level], which is VERY IMPRESSIVE [manual stated up to 3 hours].-Played all my disks CD, DVD, CD-R/RW, DVD -R/+R, DVD+RW/-RW, VCD, SVCD without a problem.-All AV INPUT/OUTPUT work well providing very good picture without degradation video quality.-Good clear, rich sound on Earbud output.-Screen resolution is good and picture quality is crisp and sharp for portable DVD Player.-Reads USB stick and SD cards without any problem. I used for testing NTSC xVid video [video: avi format, encode MPEG-4, 720x405 resolution, 30fps , 3000kbs video, sound: 44kHz 128kbs MP3 stereo].-DVD drive is quiet enough.-Remote works fine having all knobs to operate the player as a remote for good stationary DVD player.-All controls on the player panel work fine.-All set of accessories.VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY [10.5" screen size, well made, VERY GOOD BATTERY LIFE, has AV INPUT to use as a video monitor]NEGATIVE:-Speaker loudness is OK but might be a little bit better.My Final mark is ---> 5 STARS, EXCELLENT, VERY SATISFIED

I like to use an exercise DVD daily (also available on Amazon - Classical Stretch). At home I use the player that is connected to the TV.Anyway in early May I went on a trip and took the DVD - but both relatives I visited did not have DVD players so I ordered the DBPower Portable DVD player based on it's reviews. It arrived 2 or 3 days before a scheduled trip. I spent about 10 minutes testing it out and although it seemed a little slow to respond to the DVD disc, it worked and seemed pretty versatile (shows jpg pictures and plays music off of a flash drive) so I gave it a 5.Just hours before my trip there was an emergency in the family so the trip got cancelled. It's a long story but the next few months were a blur of taking care of aspects of the emergency and getting caught up at home. Finally about 3 weeks ago things started slowing down. I took the DVD player with me on a short trip and it would not play DVDs! It would play music off the USB. I called Amazon but I didn't fall into their 30 day return policy. They sent me a link to contact the seller, but the link didn't work (it was too old). So I came back on Amazon and changed my 5 rating to a 1.I thought maybe that would get their attention - and they would contact me. Anyway, a little later I remembered they had emailed about the time the device arrived wanting to know if it arrived and was okay and fortunately I had not deleted the email. So, I emailed that email address and I must say their customer service was great from then on. In less than a week I had a new DVD player.I tested out the new unit and it worked great. It responds much faster than the first unit that was faulty. I was very impressed by their customer service. I know a week ago when I was feeling kinda blue that I had an expensive paperweight with no recourse, I read someone else's review about not being able to get through to their customer service. The original unit was bought in May, because of all the family issues the problem wasn't discovered till October, but I was able to get the problem solved.I'd suggest making a folder in your email program and saving the emails from the manufacturers/sellers in case you have a problem like mine.Anyway, I changed my 1 rating back to a 5 again. I'm a happy camper and glad they have such good customer service!
