I bought this for my five-year-old great nephew he loves pirate ships. His mother told me that he had several ships, but none of them are alike so that turned out to be a good thing.

Yes it’s cheap so expect to get a cheap toy. It’s not badly made though. My son has not broken a piece on it yet. Overall it was well worth the money for a toy I know my son will probably only play with for a couple months.

The packaging is flashy and wonderful for a gift, and the boat looks impressive at a glance but it's extremely fragile and comes apart way too easy. My son went from excited to concerned, to playing 'sinking ship' when he realized the motion of water in the bathtub made all the pieces separate. (At least he made the best of it??) It's labeled bath toy but is not water tight in any way and has stickers, so while it might be good for the imaginative shipwreck type, I do believe the pricing could have been better for the quality which is why this gets 3 stars.

I got this for running a PF2E pirate campaign, hopefully the minis can fit nicely for combat. Either way, it makes for a cheap and awesome prop if you're willing to do a bit of painting! Yep it's flimsy, but who cares for that price. If you paint, make sure to prime first.

If your kids hard on toys this won’t last. My sons 4 but 3 plus seems young for this. And if you’re not into putting pieces back together constantly I wouldn’t recommend. Definitely need to super glue it together.
