Fun, Fast, and Durable RC Car – Perfect for Kids!
I picked up this RC car for my kids, and overall, I'm very impressed with how well it performs for the price. It's a fun, fast, and durable little car that has already handled quite a bit of rough play—including a tumble down the stairs! Design & Build Quality Right out of the box, the car matches the listing perfectly—the colors and size were exactly as described. The car itself is made of hard plastic, but it feels durable enough to handle crashes and bumps without falling apart. That said, the remote control leaves a little to be desired. It's made of a cheaper hard plastic and has simple on/off switches for controls instead of smoother variable-speed triggers. It works fine for younger kids, but older kids or adults will immediately notice the difference. Also, the controller is sized for smaller hands, which makes sense since it's a kids' toy—but it's something to be aware of if an adult wants to play too. Performance & Durability This thing is quick! It responds immediately to the remote, and my kids had a blast racing it around. A standout feature is the pop-out front steering joint, which adds extra durability. On its very first run, the car took a dive down our staircase, bouncing all the way down to a hardwood landing. One of the steering joints popped out of place, but I was able to snap it back in easily, and the car was back up and running like nothing happened. Very impressed with how well it held up! It also handles multiple terrains well—so far, we’ve tested it on grass, sidewalks, and gravel, and it powered through without issues. Ease of Use The controls are super simple and very intuitive—both my 11-year-old and 4-year-old picked it up right away. Even if you've never used an RC car before, it’s straightforward to operate. The included instructions were clear, but honestly, most people won’t even need them. Battery & Charging One of the best things about this RC car is that it comes with two rechargeable batteries. The second battery was actually stored in the car’s battery compartment, unplugged, under the removable door. At first, I thought they had forgotten to include it—so if you buy one, make sure to check there! Battery life has been as advertised (maybe even a little better), but of course, that depends on how aggressively it's driven. I also bought an extra set of batteries so my kids can keep playing without long waits for recharging. If you want longer play sessions, I’d recommend grabbing a couple of extra batteries—they’re pretty inexpensive. The battery compartment has a small screw for securing the door, but it also snaps shut, so you don’t necessarily need to use the screw if you want to make battery swaps quicker. Packaging & Value The packaging was simple but effective. The car was held in place with small plastic screws, which I actually prefer over zip ties or rubber bands since they were much easier to remove. Everything arrived in perfect condition. For the price, I think this RC car is a fantastic deal. It’s durable, performs well, and provides a ton of entertainment for kids. It’s also easy to set up, drive, and maintain, which makes it a great first RC car for younger kids. Final Thoughts Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase! My kids love it, and I’ve had fun testing it out with them too. The only downside is the cheap feeling remote, which would have been better with variable speed and steering instead of simple on/off switches. However, for a kids' RC car, it’s totally fine and doesn’t take away from the fun. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you’re looking for a fast, fun, and durable RC car that can handle rough play and different terrains, this one is a great choice for kids. I'll update this review if anything changes after more use. So far, it's been a great RC car, but if we run into any issues down the line, I’ll be sure to report back!

Fun and Fast RC Truck - Great for Beginners!
I picked up the Carox 1:16 Scale RC Car for my [son/nephew/etc.], and it's been a pretty big hit. This little truck is surprisingly fast for its size, reaching the advertised 20km/h, and it's a lot of fun to zip around the backyard. The dual 500mAh rechargeable batteries are a nice touch. It means you get a decent amount of playtime before needing to recharge, and having two batteries means you can keep the fun going while one is charging. The all-terrain tires and shock-absorbing suspension work well, allowing it to handle grass, gravel, and even some light bumps without any issues. The 2.4GHz remote control is responsive, and my [son/nephew/etc.] found it easy to learn and control. It's a great beginner RC car for kids aged 6-12. The 1:16 scale is a good size – not too big, not too small. The build quality is decent for the price. It feels reasonably durable, although I wouldn't recommend any extreme stunts or crashes. It's held up well to regular use so far. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is that the battery life could be a bit longer, and the plastic construction, while decent, doesn't feel super premium. However, for a beginner RC car at this price point, it's a great value. It's fast, fun, and easy to use, making it an ideal gift for young RC enthusiasts.

A Great Starter RC for Kids.
Wished I had something like this when I was around 7 years old, lol. I remember the only kind of RC's back then were remote controlled and not radio controlled. I couldn't stand them back then, but tech has come along way for kids these days. For the price, and value of this scale of an RC, is pretty cool. It looks like something you would pick up at a local Walmart, but it isn't. This is a full directional Rc for young kids, and the turning radius could have been better. Even though on the box it has L.E.D lighting, it does not. It is a rear wheel drive, or other wise 2wd, and the rubber wheels seem somewhere between plastic and rubber. I don't know if it supposed to come with two batteries, but the one I got did. Which are a 3.7v, 500mah type batteries, and I would believe if you want a longer run time with these type of RC's, I would suggest you look for a 3.7v and a higher mah battery with the same plug. This way instead of playing with it for 20-25mins, you would be playing on a single charge up to an hour depending on the mah battery. This I would say this is a great buy for a child who wants to start into RC's. The only 2 little flaws that I saw in this, and it is one of the pics, is those white plastic hold screws. I found that annoying, but it's in IMO, it does not change anything except looks. The other is it would have been nice to included 2 AA batteries for the radio.

Broke within 1 day
Worked well…for 24 hours. Broke the second time it was driven. Disappointed because so many reviews said durable.

Good little car
Another gift that gets my huge thumbs up because the recipient loved it, but, then again, what little boy wouldn't love an RC car? That isn't to say it isn't good. I think it is solid; he hit it into a number of walls and tumbled it over some rocks. But hey, he's six. It goes fast too, probably twice as fast as I can move; I tried to catch it to untangle something he hit, and that was just a pipe dream. I was thinking it was going to be a bit bigger, but I've noticed a lot of the RC cars at this price point are about this size. I remember being a kid with really large RC cars. Then again, we bought them at Radioshack when they were successful, so that lets you know how long ago that was.
