Jonathan Green (10880) Black Beauty Sunny Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (7 lb)

Awesome for patching. After seeding and watering once per day getting results in 4-5 days beautiful, green grass. Will get more.

We are seeing results! Water like crazy , especially if you had a drought and high temperatures like we did in NJ! Go so far as to use a sprinkler to soak those seeds!

I tried to plant in late spring knowing it wasn't a good time of year to plant seed. Some came up in areas without intense sun, but that's it. Watered it several times a day, birds are some. Very little survived in heavy sun areas. Probably works fine planted in fall.

Filled bare spots worked good but rough up ground with steel rake

After one week this brand grass seed has started to sprout. Am looking forward to my lawn improvement.

Had to reseed a small area of my front lawn. I know what I am doing. Prepped the area and put this seed down. and only got a few sprouts of grass to come up. Will redo it in the fall with Pennington like I should have done in the first place.

I used the 7 pound bag on my son’s front lawn. It all came up and the lawn is getting thicker by the week. Very good product

I bought this brand based on the good reviews. Indeed, it didn’t disappoint. I planted the seeds in a few bare spots on my lawn. The seeds started germinated on the fourth day and in less than two weeks, I have close to 2-inch high beautiful new green grass filling out those once bare spots.
