Practice Exams: Water Distribution Operator Certification Paperback – June 29, 2017

I spent over $1,000 easily on an online course with initial purchase and monthly renewals. While that did teach me the "5 step technique" and some basic foundations of math, (which I literally had no idea of how to do, straight "F's" my entire school career) I miserably failed my D2 Exam with no recognition of any of the questions after a years long study.A good friend of mine working in the business sent me a link to this book which is how he passed the exam. I had a sheet of conversions and formulas next to me which you can find online, as well as seperate notebook of each of the formula questions I solved using some of my basic knowledge and AI math calculators to refer to if I got stuck trying to figure one out in this book. For the multiple choice questions, first get the answers in the back of the book before you even read over the questions. Read the question, then only the answer over and over. Don't read the other wrong answers. This will make the answer stand out and make memorization a breeze. A whiteboard is mandatory for studying and completing your formulas. Write the entire "5 Step" process everytime, including the "Known and Unknown", formula being used, "plugged in" converted formula, and answer. Even when memorized, (which is gonna happen) keep writing it out, it'll burn into your memory.I completed this book maybe 50 times front to back. It was taking me 3 hours to complete 15 formula questions at first, by the end, I was doing all 45 formula questions in less than an hour, without writing anything out or looking at the formula and conversion sheet. Just calculator mashing. The multiple choice questions, all 305 of them, 100% correct everytime. I was so sick and tired of this book by the end, completing it front to back in under an hour.Went to re-take my test... about 97% of the questions in this book were in the cert exam, just words a little bit different. Finished the exam in less than an hour with 2+ more hours to spare. It actually robbed me of any satisfaction or endorphin rush because I was so over prepared and confident, there was no doubt I was going to pass.$30. That's all it costs to pass your exam.Adderall helps too.

I used this book to pass my California D2 exam. It was extremely helpful. I passed with flying colors. Ken Tesh also has a website where you can take an online course. The book is derived from the online course. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to pass their D2.

Fantastic exam prep for water distribution level 2. I had taken my class online and felt I still wasn’t ready for the exam. I studied this book until I could answer every question and just passed my test (7/20/2024). Highly recommended to anyone preparing for the D2 cert.

Great book... this was very helpful while I was study for the D2 exam. The math is very accurate to what’s on the exam.

At least 80% of the state exam is on this book. Best study guide hands down.
