Webroot Internet Security Plus | Antivirus Software 2025 | 3 Device | 1 Year Keycard for PC/Mac/Chromebook/Android/IOS + Password Manager | Packaged Version

Webroot Internet Security Plus + Antivirus seems to work well for the price at Amazon - fast scans and no obvious issues (the program claimed it removed 7 threats for me over 1 year), although my PC keeps slowing down after each year, which can be temporarily remedied by refreshing Windows. Therefore, I would recommend Webroots, but suggest that you don't renew it from within the program in the end of you license, buy a new one instead and uninstall the old one. For the second year in a row I noticed that Webroot Software company is greedy - they charge almost 30% more (e.g. $38.99 this year) if you renew by following their pretty aggressive prompts, compared to the price you will get on Amazon ($29.99). I think it is unfair with respect to loyal customers. Therefore, I will continue to use their product for now, but will take 2 stars off for their marketing strategy and let others know.

Not at all Happy with this purchased. I've use Webroot 4 close 2 20yrs, from the 1st time I downloaded it from the Company and had FULL PROTECTION ,Every yr they let me know I was close 2expire so I would Renew and save about $10. NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. I bought a New Desktop at Best buy a few yrs back and they gave me a Free 1yr Web root Protection CD, as I figured I would install as I was close 2my Installed Pgm expiring. Little did I know this was the Bargain Basement version, so it Replaced my FULL PROTECTION VER, I let it run out then thought the best would b 2Delete the cheap ver, Purchase the Full Ver again and b fully set again. So I found this Ver on Amazon and looked at others, even read on WebRoors site what this did. I purchased n took me a couple of weeks 2install n setup. Then I find This Orange version DOES NOT HAVE THE SYSTEM ANALYSIS PGM ON IT, But Should Hav, I chat with tech support online, wasted a hr n they said call other support number. I was told ANALYSIS PGM Doesn't come on Orange ver, no matter what box or info showed on Amazon. This PGM is used 2go thru ur Complete Hard Drive (s) and check 4Hidden files, bugs, BloatWare, and all the JUNK LOADED ON fr maker of computer, it tells u the Health and Illness of ur device. Now I will Not load this on my Laptop and Lose my Prior Protection fr b4. If ur happy w a Cheap Antivirus pgm, buy it. If U want Full Protection and a way 2 Monitor ur Complete Computer DON'T WASTE UR MONEY. Stay away from $50 pcmatic also, it crashed my laptop completely and only fix was a New Hard Dr because after my Original Web root Version Expired, I did a Uninstall, But it Never Completely leaves so pcmatic install was a Nightmare, their tech ppl couldn't figured it out. Finally r Company IT Guys advised me pcmatic always Monitors Everything u do and Web root Tracks with a Log, they were fighting each other. I'm sorry if Long review, but I have a Computer background and do PLC Programming so I'm usually careful, but have now spent over $200+ for a Dumb mistake, I took the word of the package info that was Wrong. Some ppl may have the same issue on a Expensive or Cheaper Computer and not know it or spend $$ they don't have 2fix a Major Problem caused by Older Versions of Software sold online. ALWAYS CHECK 4LATEST VER and buy the CD so u have it. Good Luck Folks.

I was very enthused about this product given it's speed and blocking abilities, but when I installed it my Chrome browser crashed and my extensions crashed. I can only use FireFox with it even when I stop the program. I tried re-booting with the software turned off but nothing. Every page crashes. Google: "Webroot Chrome problems" for more. Most of my favorites are on Chrome and they have the most good extensions so I have to have it as a browser.I'm using a custom build that I put together last year on this same date and had been using another AV which I removed first. I know what I'm doing and have installed OS's before. I've never seen this before from an AV. I'll try an uninstall and will have to return this and look elsewhere. I would love to use this product in the future if they ever solve the Chrome issue, but it's been ongoing for years. Maybe Google doesn't like how this work and the compatibility issue is on their end.Update: I removed Webroot and Chrome works now.

I bought this product in Nov '18, but did not install it until my Norton (Nagware Norton) subscription expired recently. Things seemingly ran fine for two weeks, then my computer started crashing--a lot. I read a review here that stated Webroot will crash Chrome browsers, so I switched to Firefox, but experienced more crashing. Tried Internet Explorer next--more crashes. Gave up and bought AVG based on word of mouth. So far, no issues with AVG, and my computer is running faster than with Webroot and Norton.NOTE: As I tried to uninstall Webroot, my computer crashed seven (7!) times while I tried to navigate through Settings/Control Panel/Programs&Features. When I was finally successful, Webroot popped up a questionnaire, asking why I was leaving -- the choices were all about computer crashes, so obviously I am not the lone ranger here.NOTE II: A friend of mine has her own business, and Webroot works fine on her expensive Lenovo Thinkpad laptop; maybe my old desktop is partly to blame for my issues.

I have a been a longtime user of Norton. Boy, does that software sure eat up your PC. I wanted to change over another anti virus seeing that Norton kept on putting more things to add on towards your protection just kept adding more procceses. I despised having to check for myself frequently, so i tried Webroot. My days of going to unknown sites was over, so quitting Norton was a must. Webroot on the other hand? Pretty much protected me the same way as Norton did when I surfed the web. Even notifies a threat with consistency which something Norton did not do. Overall, its Norton minus the added Processes.

Installed easily , have not had any slow downs .So far I am very happy I switched from MacAfee (who turned on my credit card auto payment without permission) and slowed down my computer all the time for updates or maintenance (scans , notices etc. ) Webroot scans are Fast and didn't slow me down . Will update review if any problems arise
