Easy install
Lost the cap on my truck camper and this was a super quick and easy replacement- instead of having to install and entire new vent and base - I just popped this cap on, 1 screw and done!

It felt sturdy, I can't attest to it's UV durability, as I ended up buying the whole roof cap replacement. This will sit on the shelf until I have a need for it; in case one of my new caps break or fly off. Looks like it will fit several different sizes of pipe, 1-1/4" - 2"

Plastic caps
We had several days of heavy rains and the water got into my exhaust and vent pipes. This came in a set of two caps. These are made of a lightweight plastic. You squeeze the metal clips and pop the cap into the vent pipe.Not sure how long it will last in the sun and summer heat. The plastic cap seems thin.

Exact replacement, but...
Had to replace these on the top of my 2000 travel trailer. I was power washing the roof and these (original caps) literally disintegrated on contact with the stream. I was excited to find that I could simply replace the cap rather than the entire vent which would mean a lot more work.However, once I went to put the new cap on (which was a perfect fit and simple to install!) I realized that the rest of the vent is in similar condition. In fact, while pressing this new cap on, the vent broke. I was able to seal it up with a heap of cap sealant but next year's project will be to replace the entire vent.Just a heads up to inspect the entire vent before ordering just the cap as the entire vent is about the same price as just the cap. So now I'll be "reordering" these next year.

Cheaper than local dealers
I bought this when I found the manufacturer of my RV never extended the vent line up through the roof. My installation was considerably more involved than most people would run into, but for anyone looking to replace an existing vent cover that's broken down over time the installation of this is trivial.
