DONCO Kids 505-White Dual Under Bed Storage Drawer, White

I purchased these drawers back in May, and the 4 bottom pieces of the drawers (there are 2 pieces of each bottom) were missing from the box. I reached out to Donco Kids via their Facebook Page, and they wrote back almost immediately with a direct contact name and email address of who could help me. After emailing that person, and providing a copy of my amazon receipt, they shipped out my replacement pieces that very same day. I feel like service and help of that nature is very rare nowadays, and I highly recommend this company!! The drawers also are very nice, and hold a lot of stuff, under my son's twin size bunk beds. Some of the pre-drilled holes to attach the wheels were missing, but the screws they give are self-drilling, so it wasn't a huge issue. Great product, only issue I had was that the wheels did not have the pre holes drilled. Not a big issue but could have been a problem if I didn't have tools.

We needed a bed and storage space for our granddaughters bedroom. We purchased the Max & Lilly twin bed and these were Amazon's recommended drawers. They went together well (I had zero problems) and look wonderful. They are pretty large with plenty of space. I had doubts about the rollers but they work great. Very pleased.

I purchased the double drawer a couple of months ago. I just have to make a couple of adjustments to the built-in bed for the drawers to fit perfectly. The drawer rolls smoothly and turns out to be the exact size I needed depth and tall-ness. If it would have been another 8 inches wide, I wouldn't have to make any adjustments. But I knew what I was purchasing and I will make adjustments to the space.The drawers are deep and hold quite a bit. I will upload a photo when I am done with renovations.

Not sure how much weight you can consistently put in these. I bought 4 of them to go under my kids beds for toy storage. I do not see this holding a lot of weight in one section. Maybe if distributed like clothes or bedding. It rolls good and fits under one of my kids bed frame and not the other so measure first! I had to put one the correct way and one sideways. I like them and find them useful. Not the best quality, but also not the worst. Overall I think at the price I purchased them for it was a bargain considering others I have viewed for double triple the cost. I would purchase again at this point.

This is one of the wider under bed storage drawers on the market. Assembly should have been easy, but may of the pilot holes were not predrilled. This made the assembly time longer. A portable drill and small drill bit was required. Some of the pilot holes were larger than required for the #8 screws and #10 screws had to be purchased to complete the project. It was clear that the quality control before packing was lacking.

The instructions indicated pre-drilled holes for the metal screws, but there were none. We originally intended to return these for a full refund, but the box they arrived in wasn’t reusable to send the. back. Also, these are heavy and oversized, not easy to repackage. So, we decided to try drilling our own holes. The material drills easily, and we managed not to ruin it (we aren’t very experienced). So we canceled the return and kept the items. Note: with the wheels, these drawers were maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch taller than indicated in the specs. We had to put rubber furniture cushions under the bed legs, to raise it up enough for the drawers to just barely fit under the bed. We did measure the bed before we ordered, and thought it would be an exact fit. It was close. Now that they are in place, we like them. They are big, so measure carefully! One holds all the extra sheets and blankets for a queen sided bed, the other one holds all our yoga mats and yoga props. Very useful for organizing bulky stuff.

The assembly was difficult and I’m also questioning the sourcing of the wood being sustainable for their environment?
