Easy to use, durable, and works great in the shower!
I had my lower leg in a wrap for advanced wound care for 3 months, and I like to shower 5-6 times a week. I got the half leg version and it worked just fine sealing below my knee. Keep in mind this product is not designed to be submerged underwater. It is designed for the shower and it worked well for me doing that. I pulled the product over my 4 layer wrap onto the skin and then pushed it back down to ensure a tight seal, and jumped in the shower. Every time the area of my wrap was completely dry. Just be sure to wipe the water off the rubber seal with your towel before pulling your body part out. I'd pat it dry some and let it air dry overnight and the next day was fine. It never ripped, tore, or gave me any problems. Highly recommend.

Great waterproof boot!!
Love this waterproof boot!! It does not let any water seep through. The seal is tight but not too tight on my leg. I've used it several times now and never any leaks! Easy to take on and off over my cast. The first time was a bit tough but after the first stretch of the rubber seal it's easy now to put on and take off. It's really a great product and makes taking a shower much easier with a cast on!! Highly recommend 👍

Dry suit material on top, works amazingly well!
I broke my foot and ankle the day after Christmas. Pro tip: never break anything around the holiday’s because Hospitals are packed. So while I was held captive for 12 hours and got confirmation that yes, my foot was broken, I did some shopping. This was one of the first things I purchased for this journey. I’m so glad I did! We had no idea how any of this was going to work since the condo we live in (is tiny) is not set up to house a disabled person. Getting in and out of the tub is still one of the most terrifying things to do in this new everyday life.I am a fall risk to boot, so to make things easier I shower once every 3-5 days, depending. I was in the military so this is no different aside from the fact I’m a lot cleaner laying on the couch or in the bed. “Field showers” in between actual showers keep me from stinking so woohoo. Thanks for that knowledge military (lol, we’d also call them baby wipe baths). This was to make it easier on my husband who has a demanding job, is doing all the household chores now, most of the cooking, and taking care of me. He is constantly concerned I’m going to fall, and he is right to worry since my balance is off. I was not a good candidate for a broken foot, that’s for sure. Woohoo.I digress. The point is, this was such a smart purchase because once it’s on, I don’t have to worry about it, and my focus is on getting in/out of the tub safely. The opening stretches a lot and my husbands only challenge is getting the stretchy dry suit material around the bend in my foot. He gathers up as much as the material as possible (like you’re about to put panty hose on or something) and put it over my foot the best he can. Since my ankle is broken as well he can’t twist or turn my leg without it being slightly uncomfortable for me for a few seconds, but I live each time so it’s not a big deal. I honestly don’t think any product is going to be without some challenge or some discomfort, and this is minimal for us. He’s very careful to get it as close to the bend as possible, he regroups it and then slides it up my leg. I hope that makes sense. It’s easy to use once it’s on. Just make sure that dry suit material is flat against your skin (it’s like sticky rubber on the inside do it’s just glued to your skin making an excellent seal), and you’re ready. I only use it to shower and there is nothing in there for it to snag on. There is a lot of extra material at the bottom near the toes, but that’s okay, your leg should just be out in front of you, out of the way so extra material is okay for now. If I try to stand to take a shower (I am not at that point in my recovery yet) I would say pull that excess up so you don’t step on it with your other foot. Excess is not a bad thing! Just something to be aware of.I also highly recommend getting a shower stool. My husband purchased one for me and it has helped immensely. I get on it like I get on my knee scooter. I put my knee down on the stool, get my good foot in the tub, stand up, turn around, sit down. Bobs your uncle. Ready for a shower.TLDR: good product, does it’s job, keeps your foot/cast dry, dry suit material at the top for snug but comfortable fit, excess material but that’s okay! If you’re purchasing one of these I hope your recovery goes without hiccup. It gets better. It’s hard, but it gets better.

You need this
I can't believe how well this works! So easy to put it on and take it off. My foot bandage is still COMPLETELY dry after showering. I highly recommend. The only down side is how tight it gets to form the waterproof seal. However, it's totally worth it to still be able to shower normally!

Works great but use as instructed
I will start off by saying this, read the directions and follow the directions. This product is not designed to be submerged underwater. It is designed for the shower and in that respect I feel that it works.I’ve used it half a dozen times, and it has kept the area bone dry.A couple of things you should probably be aware of. This product in my opinion is designed for below the calf. Not mid calf, and not top of the calf, but below the calf. Basically, anything a few inches or more above the ankle, and you’ll be rolling the dice. Secondly, I wear a men’s 10 shoe size. 5 foot barely fits in the foot portion. So I would say anything larger than a 10 and your toes are going to be crammed right up against the front. The plastic is a pretty durable and strong gauge of plastic, and I really cannot see being able to tear through it from just normal use. You still need to be careful when using the product as you will slide around a little bit from it. But not as much as I thought I would. During the use, it gets heavy and it feels like it’s filling up with water, but it is not. It’s just the water that is accumulating on top. My only design recommendation would’ve been to come up with a way for the water to drain off the top. But other than that, I have no criticisms. You should still try to keep it out from the direct line of the shower water as much as you can. But I think it can certainly handle a “normal “shower.I would highly recommend this and if used according to the directions, it should serve you well. It is certainly legs better than the old days where you just put a garbage bag over it and hope for the best.

Great product
I had some hardware removed from an ankle that I broke 3 years ago. This kept my bulky bandage dry and enabled me to shower. When I broke my ankle 3 years ago, I needed a cast. Unfortunately this boot did not fit over my cast. I couldn’t stretch it far enough. It worked great this time.

Great purchase!!
This thing was so helpful when I broke my ankle. Love how durable and easy to slip on it was. The seal at the top of the leg helped keep my cast dry. I recommend this item...
