Mens Black Tailcoat Jacket Gothic Steampunk Victorian VTG Halloween Costume Long Coat

I wear size medium shirts, jackets, suits. I ordered this tux in both small and medium sizes. By far, the small size tux fits the best. Where I noticed the biggest difference was on the vest. The vest on the size small fits fitted just like one would expect for this type of costume. While the vest on the size medium fits large and doesn’t looks as good. All the pictures shown are for the small size tux.

Bought this for my boyfriend to wear to a Victorian Ball. It’s definitely costume quality but it photographed well & looked good after ironing. He usually wears a large & that’s what I got him; fit him perfectly. It does wrinkle easily but all in all, we were happy with it:)

My husband wears a medium. 5'9" tall, 165#. Pants size 33 inseam 30. Vest is attached. Jacket is mostly cotton. He wore to Ren Faire/Steampunk and looked great. As it was mostly cotton he did not get super hot wearing it. Washed well. A little stiff but would rather have stiffer so it has some body. Was not uncomfortably stiff. Looked perfect for our application. There would have been enough room for a heavier shirt but he just wore a technical black t-shirt under it and was fine. Probably the reason it seemed just a tad large. Not overly. Did not find it to be too long. Thought the length was great for "tails".

Fit decently well. I ordered a medium for my husband. He is 5'6 and somewhat stocky. It fit well in length and torso, but the arms and shoulders we're a bit small. Should have ordered a large. It looked great though!

This costume coat is everything I hoped for. I ordered an XXL and am very satisfied with the fit. I'm 6'2" 265 pounds. I ordered from Amazon for the ease of return but you can find it cheaper on eBay and other sites. That said I am very satisfied with the product.

It seemed to be very nicely made, however it was a little bigger than what we thought it was going to be. That was with an undershirt and button shirt so I recommend getting a size smaller but defiantly worth it!

I read the many customer tips and ordered the jacket 2 sizes large - which worked for the shoulders and chest BUT the sleeves are now ~ 5 inches too long. Had to cut and re-sew --> not something I'm a pro at. Anyway, I've made it fit and it is all good now but would have preferred to be able to order a jacket that fit without altering.

The sizing guide is about spot on. It fit great in the shoulders and waist.The tails of the coat sit right at my heels when standing. On soft surfaces or grassy areas I have stepped on the tails.
