Jeff Leatham: Visionary Floral Art and Design Hardcover – October 14, 2014

The book is printed on expensive satin-type paper, which I expected due to the cost. The camera angles capture the details of Jeff's work, rather than the usual straight-on pics of the wedding reception room for example. I like that it gave me some ideas, but hate that the majority of it is the same thing really, over-the-top multi-height ball arrangements after another. After about a third of the book it was fairly redundant. I know that's Jeff's signature design, but clearly this was just another thing to make money cuz his name was on it. And this is coming from someone who was THRILLED that he did what I always was pushing my clients to do but of course did what they desired. His concepts were clearly & beautifully captured but it was too much of over the top. I wish he'd publish a book of concepts rather than just $100,000 jobs.

It's a beautiful coffee table book. It got good reviews, so I bought it for my daughter who is just getting into flower designing. I thought she could use it for ideas and inspiration, but since the book is sealed you can't see what is inside. It is filled with beautiful pictures of wedding flowers of very wealthy people who can spend a million dollars on just flowers. Not too many flower designers will have the opportunity to design a multimillion dollar wedding. No information in there for the flower designer, just a pretty expensive picture book.

I am so pleased with Jeff's latest book! It is by far one of his best and it shows a lot of his beautiful works of which i'm a huge fan of. He's is an extremely talented designer and I am utterly inspired by his works and creation. Truly a master of flowers indeed. I was so excited to get my book after weeks of pre-ordering it. I highly recommend this book to all floral designers especially. Even non floral designer will be inspired and wowed by this talent. It is truly a must-have book.

Beautiful coffee table book! Jeff Leatham is a floral designing genius and his book is a delight!I browse through it and love the photos, they are wonderful! Such amazing floral designs,I get amazing design ideas from his creations.

From his signature work at the George V in Paris to royal weddings around the world. It's a treasure trove of his work. Lush photography, minimal text, but a visual feast. If you love flowers and "architectural" floral installations, this is it.

Ich versuche es in gut Deutsch zu schreiben wie es mir gelingt in nicht meiner Muttersprache :Das dieses Buch für den normalen Haushalt nicht gedacht ist , ist offensichtlich. Sowie manche Kochbücher von Sternen Köche auch nicht gedacht sind zum Nachkochen zuHause aber sie sind aber trotzdem Formsprache und künstlerische Inspirationsquellen. Ich habe ein Blumengeschäft mit Manufakturen auf high end Niveau, und versorge jeden Tag Haushalten mit Blumen in große und kleine Dimensionen , auch der normalen Haushalt !Jeff ist ein Influencer, ein Querdenker , und belebt die Floristikwelt auf unkompliziertheit , Pureness und vor allem ohne große technische Trallala. Man muss es nur Verstehen, und das tut er. Dieses Buch ist eine absolute Augenweide, Kunst und das Beste von Jeff Leatham, Zum Staunen ( und das ist schon sehr viel Wert für 40 Euro , Seite für Seite, oder man hat das Staunen verlernt. Besuchen Sie doch einmal in Georg V in Paris die Lobby. Du wirst Atemlos . Die Dame mit Bewertung 3 Sternen hat es eindeutig nicht verstanden. Ich würde 10 geben. Und ich bin vom Fach....Auch meine Kunden inspiriert das auch wenn Frau sich diese Dimensionen nicht leisten kann , darum geht es nicht , ein Biss kann man davon mitnehmen. Also alle Blumenliebhaber und - innen die hohe Schule wertschätzen Kaufen.

Gave it to my best friend for her birthday as she is a newly qualified florist, and she LOVED it! We're both huge fans of Jeff Leatham's work. Truly inspiring and beautiful.

Schöne Bilder zum Anschauen, aber fast Nichts davon kann für die eigene Blumendeko zu Hause bzw. für Einladungen oder Festlichkeiten als Inspiration übernommen werden, da alle gezeigten Arangements von der Üppigkeit und Anzahl der Blüten lebt & diese hier zu Hunderten, bzw. zu Tausenden verwendet werden.
