Evans Drum Heads - Hydraulic Red Standard Pack (12", 13", 16") with 14" UV1 Coated Snare Head

GREAT HEADS! bought them for my pearl, they can take a beating, nice sound, easy to install and tune. Building a kit so now I'm ordering more for my Tamas. Don't pass these up! Also received a white snare head..Another good head! I HIGHLY recommend!

I love the way they look and sound! I love the paunchy 70's sound!! Also, red is my favorite color!!

When I first tuned them up, I thought, these are dead, just like everyone said. Now, after playing them for a few weeks on different musical styles, I really like the deeper sound over the "jazzy" live tone of the Evans G2s I replaced. I put them on my Tama Swingstar Kit. The Hydraulics give me more of a rock sound. It's nice getting the snare head with this tom pack, too. Having all new heads make the kit more fun.

Awesome Heads , been playing them for over 25 years . The note is there and quickly gone, reduces that ringy can sound.

These have that 70's punch (some call flat/no ring) tone that I need for the music I play!Great heads! They are surprisingly quiet overall, which was surprising. I'm looking forward to recording with them to hear if the tone/punch gets lost in the recording process. They sound great playing live though!

I love these heads. They look great and more importantly, they sound great. Thicker heads so if you like deeper tons these are the heads for you.

The only thing you might want to notice is that only the tom heads are red. The snare head is white, but everything sounds great.

They took away the boom and allows for a mellow tone that stays in the condo, so perfect for a small venue. Has exelant range volume wise!The band said thank you to Evans. Lol

They sounds as good as they look. Really easy to tune. Really nice damping means no more nasty resonances even with mismatched reso heads, but of course you still need your reso head tuned key to key. Easy to tune. Hard hitting. Lovely deep boom. Worth every dang penny.
