Well, we know that this smoke detector is good as it goes off when I burn food. Also, it is nice to have the smoke detector and the carbon monoxide detector in the same unit.

Easy to install. Works great! Bought these to replace our old one that was many years old. This is a good brand.

Worked great. Popped battery in, tested it, and worked as advertised. Comes with the mounting ring, screws, drywall anchors, and thorough instructions.

This three pack of Fist Alert Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors was perfect for what I needed. I replaced three battery built-in and therefore not serviceable detectors with these which will make them easier to service, especially since I can replace the batteries and they now have built-in fault detection to alert the owner to a faulty detector. It was easy to replace the old detectors as the new ones used the same holes for the mount as the old ones. Remove the battery tab, test and install.

Like the convenience of changing my own batteries!!! One 9 volt battery. Great value smoke/ carbon detector too; as I suspect this one will last longer. ( I’ve bought three of the ten year battery detectors never needs to be changed; except they die after only a couple years. They are Not worth the higher price either.)

I copy and pasted two reviews already posted because both are true. Device may be great but the package did not include connectors. These do not fit the device they are replacing, don't know why the proper connectors are not included. I had the same model already in the house so I assumed the new ones would fit with no problem. I was soooo wrong, when I got them I saw the connectors are different which makes no sense if you are replacing the same model. If they changed the way it connects they should put the new type of connectors in the box or mention that the old version can’t connect to the new one. So if you want to install you need to buy those separately which is ridiculous.
