I was able to use on thin strands and thick strands for a more detailed look. Curls held for a few days no problem. Heats up quickly and has swivel for the cord base so it does not get tangled which is great. Cheaper in price than the more expensive one my sister “borrowed” from me, but works just as well. Comes with the glove to prevent burning your fingers if you are a beginner I recommend using. Great buy for the price.

I have 3b curls, so ringlet type so I might be the last person who would need something like this. But, my hair has some areas with a bit of damage, which has altered my curl pattern, giving me some straighter stringy looking pieces on the ends. I love this little curling iron because it's the perfect size to recreate my natural curl pattern on these areas! A regular curling iron is always way too big and makes giant curls, so I was stuck forever scrunching and finger curling. This is a great solution for me!

This curling wand heats up quickly and works just as expected. The cord is nice and long and swivels at the base so you don't have to deal with it getting all twisted up. The wand comes with a glove to protect your hand, and a rat tail comb to help with sectioning. My only complaint is that the barrel is pretty short, so it is a little bit of a challenge to get the whole length of my long hair wrapped around it, but it still makes a nice, tight curl when using small sections of hair.

This was a big surprise that I received and did not realize what I was actually getting. I was interested in the small barrel that could achieve tighter curls. It does not have the clip to hold the hair onto the heated barrel. It did heat fast and in one easy step. The circle on the handle lights up when it's ready to use.There is a heat resistant glove with it to help hold the hair onto the "wand." Once set, the hair is supposed to come out like ringlets. It's easy to use, but you have to adjust to the different usage/method. You will also have to be more aware of being burnt. Otherwise, it's a fair value for the money and will last long due to pretty sturdy construction and materials.

Do not buy!!!! It almost melted my hair off!! There is not a temp control. It is horrible. I do not recommend at all!
