My nephew loves this toy. My sister tells me this magna doodle is wonderful--it's big enough to allow a lot of drawing for his son and she says a big plus is the background multicolored, not just gray like most of the others. The little magna doodle that comes in the package with the big one she says is stay in the car and my nephew is drawing every morning on the way to the school and every time when left him shoes his mother what have drawn. I usually doesn’t leave reviews but if my sister and nephew are happy seems to be a great toy. Great gift choice!

My daughter broke her old doodle board, 2 of them actually. She can be a bit rough with her toys. So I wanted to get her a new one for her birthday and then saw this had a full size and mini one so that I could give her the mini one now and save the big one for her birthday. Which has worked out perfectly. She loves these things and I didn't want to wait until October 11th to give her one because it keeps her busy. The big colored one is great, I checked it out when I got it just to make sure it wasn't broken. Had a tiny issue with the smaller board but the company was great and quick to issue a partial refund which was fine with me since the board can still be used and the bigger board looks great. The little magnetic shapes are a cool touch and both have strings to keep the pens attached. Overall a great product especially if you want 2 boards for close to what 1 of them cost from other sellers.

The small one was broken when we got it and the larger one's pen broke the first time my daughter used it. She was writing on the board and the tip came off the pen. Huge waste of money and very disappointing.Edit: I think we just got a bad one. Seller contacted me and sent a replacement. This one works perfectly and my daughter loves it! Great seller and the replacement was good quality.

I bought this for a roadtrip, and it was a hit with my 5- and 7-year-olds. It held up well on the drive, and it was nice to have the bonus small one, so they could both magna-draw at the same time. They loved the different colors and the shape magnets. I like that it has a handle and that the "pen" is attached to the main unit. It seems well made, erases completely, and should last for several more years of travel if we take good care of it.

These are made out of cheap plastic!The smaller magnet board is useless...your drawing fades immediately after you write something. It is very small with the screen being only slightly bigger than a pack of cigarettes. I understand this is travel size but they could have easily increased the size a couple inches without making it difficult to carry around.The large magnet board is okay but doesn't erase right away. You have to go back and forth with eraser a few times in order for it to erase. Also, the solid magnet pieces are difficult for me to get out. I can imagine my four year old getting frustrated trying to get pieces out. In all fairness, the pieces may become easier to get in and out after some use.If this was $10, I would give it a four star rating!

This set isn't the best quality. Some of the "cells" on the larger surface were already darkened, and they didn't erase/turn white when we tried it. The smaller unit is wonderful, so it's kind of a mixed-bag. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

These magnetic drawing boards are fun for all ages! Id never seen one that was in color before. I'm not really sure how that works, but it's fun! The large board holds the magnetic shapes really well, almost too well. The seashell shapes are actually a heart, star, and circle. I like the ocean them as my son has recently had a fascination with shells. Hopefully he will get years of enjoyment from this board!

It’s cute and seems to be fairly sturdy. The big problem is the picture we draw fades right out so my daughter is left with an empty board. The shells are also hard to put in and take out. They wind up all over the place bc my kids can’t get them back in.***update just had to toss this out. The entire board was dark like it had been drawn on, the pen came off, didn't last as long as the cheaper one i picked up in store. Wouldn't buy again.
