LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW - Crispy Caramel - 10.4 oz - Chocolate Covered Gourmet Licorice - Black Licorice Coated in Dulce Chocolate and Sea Salt Flakes

These are amazing candies for the licorice lovers out there. This is the best licorice I have ever tasted. These come in several flavors, but the crispy caramel and the salt & caramel are my favorites.

OK -- truth is I do not like licorice, but my husband loves it. I tried this crispy caramel black licorice and ended up order a container of it for myself! The sweet and salty combination was awesome. (Still don't like plain black licorice tho!)

Just ordered this flavor, so don't know how it tastes, but did have the raspberry, and now I don't see it. We really enjoyed it. It is best when you slowly let it dissolve in your mouth, and get the flavor of fresh berries, or whatever the flavor is, then the high quality chocolate, then the licorice, which is a nice chewy, lightly salted licorice. It takes a long time to eat one this way, but what's the rush??

I like licorice, but I have never tasted anything this good! So delicious! Amazing combination of caramat,salt, and chocolate.

Awful. I’ve purchased other flavors of this product that are excellent. This one is awful. The chocolate tasted very waxy and the licorice not good either. The package says crunchy toffee, but there was no, zero, crunch . I think it was old, but could not find an expiration date on the package. Do NOT buy this product. Very expensive for terrible quality.

This has become my bad habit. I have to step away from the bottle and have it out of my eyesight so I don’t eat it in one sitting and end up buying more. This is definitely crack. And delicious. You won’t be sorry.

I previously bought a jar of the sour strawberry and loved it so I bought the variety pack hopeful I'd enjoy other flavors. I realize now that the sour strawberry is made with a different kind of licorice than the majority of flavors in the variety pack. Some of the flavors are ok but really nothing special compared with the three fold combination of chocolate, sour, and licorice. Some of the flavors in the pack however I can only describe as briney puke. The heavy saltiness and the soft black licorice forms a really revolting combination in the mouth that's like throwing up salt water. I was also disappointed by the packaging. It looks nice in the box but I expected the individual "capsules" to be removable so you can dispose of the box. That is not the case, instead the box itself is recloseable like they expect you to keep the (massive) box around until you finish eating all of it. Luckily I still had the superior resealable container from the sour strawberry so I was able to use that instead. Even the sour strawberry in this pack pales in comparison to the original jar I bought and I'm not sure whether that's due to the lesser packaging of the combination pack or a cognitive effect of having it next to the lesser flavours.

These are wonderful. A perfect balance of licorice, chocolate and slight crunch. They are pricey but you only need to eat 1 or 2 to quiet your sweet tooth. They are a great texture and balance of flavors.
