This was recommended by my wife's physician. This has been such a great supplemental add-in to our diet that we have it on a monthly delivery. It is really important to get enough protein in and sometimes I don't have to eat a huge chicken breast. One serving gives me 17G of protein and it's just an ounce of liquid. Now, it is super sweet, but you can easily chase it down with a bit of water. It's been a huge win for me and my wife. We tried both flavors and decided that orange cream was our favorite. Highly recommend.

I love this stuff as a protein supplement. I take a shot in the afternoon at work when the hunger pang strikes, and I need a snack. It does combat cravings for other bad for you things. I think it is helping my skin as well. The taste is tolerable. Would love some different options for flavors.

It’s a great value for the money. The taste is good, probably a little too sweet for some, but good. I mix mine with a protein shot , taking them together. It could be added to a short glass of water and taken . I’m 57 and people don’t believe in a GMA. Collagen definitely has played some part in that.

I bought this with the expectectation that I will only consume this directly post gastric sleeve.However, 1.5 weeks after my surgery, I had to deal with a family emergency that put tracking my protein intake lower on my priority list. I was great with water consumption (thank God for water bottles with time tracking reminders that can be carried everywhere I go) and vitamins/meds. Pro T was a lifesaver in making sure that my protein quota was met (along with protein shakes, of course).When it came time for me to introduce solid foods, I was happy to just live off of protein shakes and food. As time went by, I found myself gravitating towards Pro T as I found it challenging to meet my protein quota.About 2 month post surgery, my family and I had to deal with another life change, which stopped me from tracking my food (most importantly, my protein intake) altogether. A few weeks after settling in to changes, I noticed I felt weak. I chalked it up to all of the emotional roller coaster I went through and the constant activity and running around I had to do with dealing with family and everyday life. I suddenly felt too weak, it was concerning.Trying hard to figure out why (besides what I said on the last paragraph), it dawned on me that I probably wasn't consuming as much protein as I did before. I wasn't tracking after the 2nd family event, in which I started feeling weak. I've lost over 40 pounds at this point. I'm lucky my hair stayed intact, though. I immediately dusted off the bottle and started to consume it again.I'm 4 months post-op and this fills in the gaps where food and protein shakes. I plan on using this strictly as a tool until I have my bearings on eating intact.As for the taste, texture, etc. I have to say it's not the most palatable, but it'll do. For being sugar free, it's overly sweet, which I initially was taken aback from it. The texture can be a bit too thick post-op (it was for me), but I'm grateful that a serving is just 1 ounce. I got used to the taste and texture after a few weeks, although I still find it overwhelming at times.As much as Pro T is super-important in my life, I have to give it a 4-star rating as I've indicated the taste and texture can be weird or overwhelming for me at times. However, perfection isn't key here, but nourishing myself is. This product is super-helpful for me to be nourished and I'm grateful for that.

Super easy way to get your extra protein in. It does taste like orange cream, but its also not like drinking an orange Julius or a cream pop. Still easy to drink and move on with your day. I will buy again.

Horrible taste

Unexpectedly pleasant taste of "great berry." Low potassium and sodium, 17g protein per fluid ounce. Recently tried ProStat "citrus splash" flavor. Threw it out. Unusual for me because I watch my expenses. Tolerated for two years Medtrition's "orange creme." Maybe berry flavors are generally better, but happy to have found this. Reordering.

This is a great way to get some additional protein in on a daily basis. I just pour some in my shot glass and swig it down. The berry is really spit but it’s drinkable. I have not tried the orange cream. Money wise it’s not comparable to the big jugs you mix with water or milk because with those you get 30 grams of protein and with this only 15, so i would have to drink 2 of these a day making it really expensive. I would buy this again though because i’m on an EXTREMELY high protein diet per my dr (180 g a day ) which is virtually impossible me to meet with only 1/3 of my stomach left.
