This spell book is amazing!! You’ll read reviews that give it low stars because of the latex feel on the outer cover. While it does have that feel, it also plainly states that in the title of the product.This book is 180 pages, with the first 24 having spells and incantations in them. Some are from the movie, with a little discrepancies, but the majority are not.Overall, if you’re a fan of the Hocus Pocus movie and want a decent replica from the movie without spending a ton of money to make your own, I highly recommend this one!!! Just get it!!!“Oh look, another glorious morning… Makes me sick.”

Was absolutely perfect for my Winifred costume. Had lots of people ask to see it or touch it at our Halloween party. The spells on the version I bought repeat but no one was flipping that far into it to even notice. It was a perfect prop and really tied my costume together. I used it for my Halloween costume in 2018 and it’s held up very well so far (now 2023). I still put it out for decoration at parties and for trick or treaters. It feels and looks pretty realistic and if you’re a big Hocus Pocus fan I’d say it’s worth splurging on!

It's absolutely perfect and enchanting! And is exactly as described. It is beautifully cast in latex which definitely gives is that skin look. And the pages of the journal that have spells tickled me pink. I bought this as a gift for a friend. I'm definitely going to have to buy another one for myself. Also the seller was super friendly as I emailed them when I first bought it. I paid the Express shipping to make sure it got here before our trip to give the gift. They told me it should definitely be here in time and it is. I am more tha pleased with the seller and thier products.

Okay so this is a really cool replica of Boook! But I read previous reviews about the color being too light and yes it definitely was too light! So like one previous buyer I painted it a darker brown but didn’t paint it like all solid brown because in the movie it looks worn! Which was great because I’m not very crafty! So random strokes and uneven areas actually came out great for what I was trying to accomplish. I included a photo of the paints i used (I mixed the two browns together because I didn’t have the right brown handy) I also brightened up the silver parts to make them stand out more! If you watch the video I added - the snake on the side arrived pretty flat! So I did my best to kinda re-inflate it so it doesn’t look so squished! Before doing what you see in the video I cut a very small slit under the snakes head to allow some air to get in there. The cover is made out of a rubbery material but unlike other reviews I think it’s cool because it gives the impression of “skin” which is what the book is said to be made of in the movie! “Bound of human skin”The spells are really neat, just wish the whole book was filled with them! For the price I really would have liked it to be slightly better quality instead of me having to make the improvements but I didn’t mind doing it and used paint / brushes we had here at home.

Its definitely a realistic copy of the movie "boook". And its Big! Cant wait to use it for my hocus pocus theme event.

For $75 I was hoping to get what I paid for. The outer cover is really nice and has great detail. The inside pages are thick, the spells are cute. I do wish the paper looked distressed and withered. The pages are tan construction paper like. I will be sending it back because I bought the version that was suppose to have 24 pages of spells and the the rest blank pages. Unfortunately All pages contained 24 spells that repeated over and over throughout the pages. I wanted to use the blank pages to put recipes and have the book for a Halloween cook book.

Love this thing! Yes, the outside that you see in the photo is a rubbery book cover, basically, but it looks really good and I’m not afraid to handle it because it might fall apart. It won’t. Love the spells inside and all those blank pages are just screaming to be written in. This is a great prop!
