Very Good Performance & Excellent Value
Have used 3 spindle sizes and 2 grits on a woodworking project since getting these. Perhaps I work at a slower pace than others, but I did not have to adjust my drill press speed, and found that just light pressure with multiple passes gave very satisfactory results. The 80 grit had a nice balance of speed and control of removal while leaving a smooth enough surface for making router templates, while the 150 grit left a very smooth, ready-to-finish surface. I used as large a spindle as the curvature allowed. The cutting speed did not throw the dust all over, but left a nice pile near the cutting area. I saved the sanding dust and will use it to fill gaps in the glued up project. The easiest way to tighten/loosen the spindles was to chuck them up first and then adjust the spindle nut while holding the chuck or spindle. An old toothbrush cleaned the sleeves and keep them cutting well. After deciding that these were definitely keepers, I made a storage block from scraps ... holes for the spindles and dowels for the extra sleeves.

Excellent buy.
Well made. 1/4” shaft on all drum sanding bits.Works great.

Remember that the diameter increases when the drum is turned on
Included sleeves are OK, but not particularly durable. Also, they appear to clog very quickly.

Project Saver for Round Pieces
These work really well on anything round/curved.I originally got these while getting the rust off my iron fence that has a lot of curly metal work. The 4 sizes worked great on different parts of the fence. One issues I initially had was that the screw that expands the rubber drum to hold the sandpaper would tighten over time when the drill is set to "forward". My solution was to reverse the direction of the drill occasionally while working... that way the drum never became too tight or loose.

Small sanding drum works well
Had to enlarge a closet rod hole by a fraction as we decided to go from wood to medal rods. Drums worked perfectly for the project!

Not the best drum sanders.
These sanders are OK for weekend projects, but they aren't the best quality. The large one was out of round and wobbled on my drill press.

Drums good, sandpaper so-so
The quality and durability of the drums are good. The quality of the sandpaper included is marginal. Expect to need to replace it quickly, or before you even use them.
