Taste, texture, quality, are all on point. They are expensive, but they are using quality ingredients. I just wish instead of agave syrup, which causes massive blood sugar spikes, and the raw honey, they'd replace it, or create a version using allulose syrup. Both honey and agave syrup are primarily composed of fructose, which is extremely inflammatory. I absolutely love these, but just eating 1 daily, made me gain water weight, and caused such swelling in my hands and ankles. Fructose is just so bad for us. Don't get me wrong, they all taste great, and all but 2 of the ingredients are on point, texture, is too. This bar could be a great breakthrough bar into a ketogenic or even eventually a carnivore lifestyle. The really are good, but all those carbs, make them a hard NO for me. They could have used allulose, or even monk fruit sweeteners are very good, natural sweeteners, that have no affect on the blood sugar. Allulose has even been proven to be a natural GLP1 inhibitor.

I have seen many mixed reviews on these, and it seems like you either like the flavor/texture or you don’t. I will say, if you’re only accustomed to highly processed, artificially sweetened, protein bars (which let’s be honest is most of what you’ll find on the market) you probably won’t like these because they are clean with real ingredients and only subtlety sweetened. I eat mostly single ingredient foods and dislike overly sweetened things, especially stevia/sucralose so I truly love the flavor and texture of these bars.The salted caramel is my favorite, I already ordered another box of that flavor. 2nd in line would be the cacao. I did not like the coffee flavor and wouldn’t buy it again. It wasn’t bad, just not my preference. It is also the softest of the 3 bars texture wise, so if you don’t like the chewy texture this may be the one for you. Which brings me to my next point:I noticed there is a slight bit of variation in texture/consistency bar to bar, which is completely normal because there are no preservatives. I’ve read a few reviews of people complaining of an oil residue on top and wondering what it is. Well, it’s beef tallow duh. I don’t see any issues with this. The cacao is the 2nd softest in texture after the coffee, and salted caramel is the chewiest. Personally I like to work for my food, and this is my favorite bar so I have no problem with it. Anyone who doesn’t typically use much jaw strength to chew their food may have an issue with this texture.Overall I would give these 4 instead of 5 stars because of the price. If they brought it down a bit I would stock up!

The media could not be loaded. I could not wait for these bars to arrive already, and once they did, I opened one right there in front of the delivery man. even though they where melty from the heat I couldn’t resist the delicious flavour and how well they were crafted.this will not be a bar for people that sugar is their main component of their diet. We are a family how is eating a very clean diet with no added sugars and even more often low carb than any other. This is why the mild sweetness felt absolutely fantastic to me and all three my very young boys. I absolutely am in awe from the balance between the ingredients and the texture of it. We will use them for our coming trip to Mexico and for many more.Other bars that I have encountered before had a horrible burn feeling or a terrible aftertaste- NOT this one! Than you so much for your commitment for excellence. The only request that I have is to make it kosher (which I know is problematic because of a dairy blend of protein and mead based protein together, but I’m positive you can figure it out).

These are very healthy protein bars except that they have too much beef tallow and hence high saturated fat content. They should lower the beef tallow and add organic almond butter or coconut as another source of healthy fat/oil.They actually taste pretty good and have good texture. Amazing ingredients otherwise and no bad ingredients, not even any flavors or seed oils. Wish it was a little less on sugar too although all of the sugar comes from organic raw honey.

If I could give these Prima Salted Carmel bars a zero, I would. They have almost no taste except for an oily flavor and they’re very dry. My husband says they taste like salted clay. We really aren’t hard to please, but these bars are awful.

They have a beefy aftertaste that is very hard to get past. The salted caramel is the worst for the aftertaste. They do have a great clean ingredient list though, which was why I purchased. I also had a really hard time with the chewy taffy like texture. I won’t buy again it’s just too much money to have to chicken them down.
