So, So Yummy!
OMG...really yummy and such a great value. I did research on Chicory root and found it has a lot of inulin which provides improved digestion, stable blood sugar, and reduced inflammation, due to its high inulin content and other beneficial compounds. The product label doesn't say how much caffeine is in a single serving but Chicory root is caffeine free. It has a rather nutty flavor with a touch of caramel. This is a great find in my book.

Smooth coffee
The best coffee I've ever made. It's smooth and flavorful. It reminds me of my trips to New Orleans & sitting outside with friends. I have this product on auto ship so I have a constant supply. The price is good, too

dark roast= strong bold cup with hint to chicory; lends body w/o bitterness
Good flavor and strength. I have the "Dark roast" option. I like my coffee dark, black, unsweetened. This has a well established undertone of chicory. Not strong, but it is there in the background. Probably best for those not looking for strong chicory yet want a bold cup of coffee with added baody (sans bitterness).I make this in a French press, and I need to use less that what I normally do with my coffee. Even then it is sometimes too strong. I dont often do creamer, but there are times that I use it to make this taste smoother--usually because I still made it too strong. I mean, I love my coffee ultra bold and strong, but sometimes too much coffee grounds to water ratio just makes it taste harsh. Need a balance. So overall I like it. Just a little tricky for me to get right. When I do, it makes a strong cup of dark coffee, with hint of nutty chicory. I like that the chicory gives the coffee body yet doesnt impart an tang or bitterness. For the price it is worth the try.

Super intense and flavorful coffee!
This has always been one of my favorite coffees on the market. It has a bold and rich flavor even when using only one half to 2/3's the normal amount. That is a plus for using this coffee as well as the awesome flavor. It's the chikory that intensifies and helps bring out the flavor!

My Favorite Coffee of Over 30 years
Saying goodbye to this amazing product. I have been buying and consuming this coffee for well over 30 years. I have made so many people addicted to it, as well, mainly by giving them cans to try. This is the way GF and GGF made coffee. They roasted the beans then the chicory, ground it and mixed it together. This was mainly because coffee beans were expensive during that era. Chicory added a boost of flavor and made the beans go a lot further. I used to by this for $3.00 plus a can. It is now in my Publix for $10.29 a can. I switched to buying on Amazon, when I could get it for $5.32 a can. In the last month, they increased the price to $7.19 a can. Supporting a young family on disability does not allow this luxury. It is still the best coffee and I strongly recommend it, but don't blame me if you get hooked.

Weak chicory flavor
I am so used to Cafe Dumond coffee. It has a true New Orleans flavor of chicory. I found this. Rand lacks the deep intense flavor of chicory coffee. I did finish the can but went back to Cafe Dumond. Nothing but the best to start your morning.
