Great for young athletes
My son was needing something to practice hitting on his own and this was great. Plastic bat and balls perfect for young kids. Wired well for my 6 year old

Very good product works well!
Works really well! Arrived in great condition. The pitcher itself works excellent. Every 7 seconds a ball shoots up about 1/2 a foot in the air and it’s very easy to hit. All ages would love this. The bat it comes with is great for kids 1-13. Overall very good product very happy with it!

Great purchase
Don't hesitate, just buy this. My son had become a hous3 body and wanted to do nothing but watch TV and play video games, until I bought this. Not only does he like it at 6yr old but I use it just as much as he does. Great toy to help with practice and easy to set up and use.

Baseball lover toy
The media could not be loaded. Perfect toy for a baseball lover. My 6 year old son enjoys playing with this. It’s a small, light weight toy that’s easy to store and bring out when time to play.

The Worst Purchase I Have Ever Made Through Amazon
Hands down, the worst purchase I have ever made through Amazon. A really cheap product for as expensive as it is. I thought, with the MLB logo on it, that it had to be decent. Wrong. We only used it a few times, over the course of a couple weeks, when the mechanism that pops the balls up stopped working. Forget about trying to make a repair yourself, since it's glued together, so attempting to fix it is impossible. On top of everything, it was too late to return it for a refund, which I guess is why I'm writing this review - catharsis.I'm no professional batting coach, but I am a dad and my suggestion is that if you have youngster you're trying to teach hoe to hit, save yourself the money and buy a cheap T-ball stand. Then move on to having your child try to throw the ball up themselves and try to hit it. Once they get their swing down, move on to one of the great pitching machines out there, like a Furlihong, that lobs the ball at them, AND only costs about twice this piece junk. If you're set on getting a pop-up pitching machine, get the cheap one that you push down manually one at a time, for which I naively thought this was an upgrade.

Kind of silly
It's a fun toy, not really a hitting trainer. It's nearly impossible to find balls that fit it here -- standard seem to be "9 inch" and they used "8 inch" for this for some unknown reason, so you've got to scour the world if you lose any of the 5 balls that are included. It also doesn't stand up well on grass. You need a rock or a board to put underneath it, and even then, it tips over really easily. It's pretty cool also pretty cheesy.
