Bad Aax T8400 Drum Microphone Kit

I'm absolutely stunned at how good these sound for the money! Much wider frequency response than the CAD models at this price point. The mounts are kind of brittle and cheap, but the mics themselves are not bad at all.

UPDATE 12/1/16 >> ALL 4 OF THE INCLUDED DRUM CLIPS HAVE BROKEN, DESPITE MY EXTREMELY CAREFUL USE. THE PLASTIC IS BRITTLE AND THEY'RE CERTAIN TO BREAK FOR YOU TOO. REVISING MY REVIEW TO ONE STAR. All metal drum microphones with clip ons similar to what Pyle is using. This is my 3rd set of drum microphones... I got the pricier CAD models (the plastic drum mount hardware shatters when hit by a drumstick) and also the similarly priced set from Pyle (which are plastic). I find these mics to be just as good as both the CAD and Pyle models with the added benefit of being made of metal. These are going to survive a lot longer for me because of it. The plastic clips that hold these to your rims are a bit brittle and easy to break -- i broke one on a drum with wider than normal rims. Pay close attention when you're connecting it to a drum for the first time to make sure it's not going to stretch and break. Once you know it fits, you can pop it off and on a little quicker, knowing that it fits. They come in a great carrying case, but the mechanism that holds the lid shut broke right away for mine. Do they have replacement clips for sale?
