Best beginner's guitar book ever

I dare not tell how many years. Yes years!, trying to teach myself to play Guitar and reading music. Accumulating a private collection of self teach books along the way.To be truthful I should have picked up this book three years ago. It's perfectly laid out starting with the rudiments of music, which allows you to make sense of the notes and transpose them to the strings and frets of the guitar along the way.It has 15 lesson's with music and words for each lesson. Also a CD with 91 tracks. Every lesson has a student and teacher set out on seperate stave's. By just reading this fantastic book has made sence of all my other self teach books I have and answered a lot of niggling questions.Ho by the way. I am 87 years old and expect to be playing at the Proms next year. Well there is always hope?Buy it. You will not be dissapointed.Clive
