Great variety of crochet designers.
This book includes wonderful patterns from several great designers. If you are not sure what your style is, this is a good book to use to become familiar with designers. The patterns are well-written.

Love this Book!
Great crochet pattern book. I love the designs and they are easy to follow. They create more complicated amigurumi so recommend for an intermediate or experienced crafter. I am so happy with this book and will try to make everything in it!

Wonderful designs. Great instructions!
This book is so awesome. I’m brand new to crochet. Apart from a Woobles kit, I’ve never managed anything more complex than a scarf but I so desperately wanted to make a unicorn so I got this book. I honestly thought I wouldn’t be able to use any of the patterns, but my first amigurumi attempt was Bel in the back of the book. I’m a true beginner and I was able to follow this pattern and make a unicorn and I’m so excited to make more. There are patterns for different skill levels and great instructions both of the animals and the different stitches. Get this book, you will be glad you did!

Beautiful book and gorgeous patterns, but not for complete beginners
I love love LOVE this book! The instructions are relatively straightforward, the patterns are super cute and there are many pictures to accompany the instructions. Theres so many varieties of patterns and as someone fairly new to amigurumi I’m learning so many new skills too. However this is NOT for complete beginners. I started amigurumi with “Woobles” and the easiest ones in this book is about the same level as Woobles’ “intermediate+” (a bit harder even). It is an AMAZING book if you know a lot of the basic stitches and how to connect the pieces and want to ramp up your skills or just make something cute. I quickly bought the second volume of this series too - hope for more to come in the future!

New to Crochet
Full disclaimer- I’m new to crochet.I love the designs in this book. They are whimsical and varied and come from different contributors. I have thus far only tried one. I was so very frustrated with the instructions that I haven’t tried another. The book is great about linking you to stitches that you may not know through a QR code. My issue had to do with the pattern I attempted. While I’m very pleased with my finished product and I learned a lot in the process, that is mostly because I had to come up with solutions on my own. The instructions for the hair yielded a ridiculously large wig cap and long strands that had to be ripped out after completing the entire thing ( hours of work) and greatly reducing the rows on the cap and the number of chains on the strands. The gown top was much too small and had to be added to to make it look correct (this could be due to different brands of yarn or the fact that my tension wasn’t consistent as I am still new to the process.). The patten has legs (with vague directions about attachment) however to make the dress fill out and allow for the figure to stand I had to remove them and stuff the skirt and and crochet a bottom piece. I fought very hard to have finished product because more than once I wanted to trash it after spending so many hours working on it. I will allow that using a quality yarn brand may have yielded a better result, however it would have by no means solved all the issues with this pattern. I can not say anything for the other patterns as they are submitted by other contributors . I gave the book a higher star rating than my experience because of that. (Note: the face is different than the pattern as I altered the face slightly to my liking.)

Easy directions. Awesome explanations. Fantasy characters. Adorable unlimited. I own all three in the series and they are inexpensive and very well written. I love this series of amigurumi books! Buy it!
