Incredible Optic!
We run the comp m4 & m5 on our duty rifles. I wanted something similar to run on my personal rifle without spending a fortune. This option was perfect and at a fraction of the cost. Looks good, works good! It’s an Aimpoint!

No complaints
Some context beforehand: I shoot paper and stationary metal targets only. No egressing from planes or even run and guns, just short range (25yds) mostly indoors at an air-conditioned range. I attached this to a Springfield Hellion rifle and a Sig 516.Installation was easy enough but took a few tries to get the right height. I'd done this at home with the intent to adjust at the range, but would have been easier with a laser boresighter or similar tool. If you're doing this at the range, carry a 10mm socket wrench or tool along with you. At the indoor range it was a max of 35yds and I didn't need to adjust elevation or windage.Battery installation was also easy, but I did put the battery in the wrong way on the first attempt. Should have read the instructions:.The sight picture is quite clear. I am nearsighted and with my prescription lenses and protective glasses I could easily acquire those fast moving paper signs. First shots were with a target with four bullseyes on each corner. At about twelve yards I was able to easily hit the four 2" circles in about 3 seconds based on a shooting app. At 20 yards, it took 4.5 seconds. I hit 3/4 of the 2" targets. This was mainly a vision issue as I couldn't easily resolve the targets, but the sight picture was perfect. The rest of the day was spent on various targets and I was victorious against all of them. With the Hellion, it was lots of fun because I could easily move from target to target and hit everything. On the dynamic range where targets appeared for about 3 seconds before dropping automatically, I easily hit all the large 5" targets at 15 yards and did pretty good against the smaller targets.Other notes:The sight has multiple of levels of brightness. The first three were invisible until I turned off the lights in my office. At the brightest levels indoors there was a bit of a halo and fuzziness but this is mostly because of my prescription lenses. Outdoors on a bright day the brightest settings were visible. I did not test actual firing though. The height of the sight when installed means that it doesn't fit in the Hellion soft case. I haven't used that case since I purchased the Hellion but keep that in mind as you'll need to buy another case if you want to transport with the sight on.No sight cover or reticle cover is included. Not a big deal as these are available cheaply from other places, but some of my other sights include them. All said, I'm very satisfied with the scope and will purchase another couple for other rifles.

It's an Aimpoint. You know it's good.
I bought this because I didn't want to spend the money on another T2. I am very pleased that I did. While it is bigger and heavier than my other Aimpoint, it was also much easier on the wallet. I would recommend this sight all day long.

Its an Aimpoint so its great, but other Aimpoints are better
I bought two of these because at the time the Aimpoint pros were sold out everywhere. Lets be straight forward, the ACO is an Aimpoint so its durable and still generally better than most other non-Aimpoints; in this regards are in a league of their own. Aimpoints are like Surefires, its hard to go wrong.Having established that Aimpoints are fantastic, lets get into the weeds. I'm using the Comp M2 as a base line. The mount is just good enough to do the job, but it could be much better, the old Comp M2's had better mounts. Its not NV capable, pros and the Comp series are, its not guaranteed to be submersible to the same depths as a Comp M2. The Comp M2 came out in the late 1990's and its still better than an ACO in every way except the dot size.Overall I'd say save you money for a PRO, for about $60 to $80 more you get a RDS that is superior in every way possible. If you can find one used and returned for less than $400, it might be a good buy. I own two ACO's and while my review was critical, I still like them and will keep them, they're still better than most other non-Aimpoints RDS's. Basically its a good RDS and should serve you well.

Aimpount Carbine Optic - Great Optic at a reasonable price
I looked at many other more expensive optics for my AR. After reading many positive reviews as well as watching several videos, I decided to purchase the Aimpoint Carbine Optic. I am very glad that I did purchased this optic.I recently added a 3x tripler to compliment this optic which now will allow me to take further shots at the range as well as when I am hunting.

Great Red Dot
Purchased this to mount on an AR build, and VERY happy with it. Sight is easy to work, easy to adjust, accurate at variable ranges. Worth the money!
