Works great saves a lot of time when measuring large buildings

This laser measure feels solid and reliable to touch and the rubberised case gives you hope that it will survive a few accidents. The fact that it is rechargeable saves on consumable batteries and the battery life is good for normal use. The bilateral function saves you doing so much moving and is very useful when obstructions in the way and you can't get right up to the wall. The basic functions are fairly intuitive and a quick look at the instruction manual can get you going, However, this is a powerful tool and can do more than the basics although unless you are using the more complex features regularly you will be referring back to the manual. Screen clarity is also good, the buttons respond well and the device seems accurate (although I have only done a limited calibration). Disp;laying angle on the screen also helps ensure you have a level measurement. I find it strange that the manual says that it is only intended to be used indoors as I guess there are not many people who need a 160m range for indoor use. Although there are no guidelines for use outdoors although this is technically possible if you adhere to safety guidelines and have a reflective surface to aim at. Obviously the longer the distance the more difficult it is to aim. Some laser measures do provide a white plastic sheet to help with this. In summary this is a good tool but it might not be the best for many people as you are paying for a functionality and range that you will never use. It stores a lot of data but unless you know what each data item refers to this may be more than you need. Similarly you may not need volume functionality. If you need all it offers the pricing is competitive but for basic laser measuring there are cheaper options available

Really useful. Takes a little while to get your head around how to use it. I’m doing a lot of DIY at the moment and this saves lots of time. I’ve not had to use too many of the settings but useful so far.
