Leave it to Maybelline to come up with a great lip color product. The more layers you apply, the more intense the color. Unlike other lip stains, this one does not sting or burn your lips. It also does not dry your lips. In fact, it's somewhat moisturizing. I am a 65-year-old woman and the Maybelline Lip stains do not bleed out at the lip line. The color stays exactly where you applied it. One application really does last for 12 hours, even with eating and drinking! They have a nice assortment of colors. Love the color. And these stuff STAYS ON until you wash it off. I've put it on in the morning - drink coffee/tea, water all day including meals of all kinds. You want to put it on and then let it dry for at least 15 minutes. Not too thick. It is a tiny bit cakey. It is very matte as most of the 'stains' are. It doesn't taste or smell weird. It does tend to dry out your lips. So I recommend night time moisture. I did try a number of colors but this one is the one I use the most. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. One of my favorite products right now! Its long lasting and looks amazing. Ive bought a few of them. Wish they had a deeper red color but aside from that these are great. Smudge resistance:I have eaten with it on, I have fallen asleep with this on and it was untouched. Quality:The product is smooth. You only need to apply a little bit or you can layer it for a deeper shade.Longevity:Lasts 24 hours, dude.Stay on:It's easy to clean off but can stay on for a while.

Love the product, but they missed the mark on the packaging. The color are true and long lasting however, the casing for that small inner tube of lipstick is large and bulky. It would have been great if they would have omitted the outer casing and just left the small inner tube. I certainly would’ve bought many more to have in every purse & pocket.

I love this lip tint! The shade “Skinnydip” is a gorgeous soft pink-nude that looks super natural—perfect for everyday wear. The texture is lightweight and velvety, and it doesn’t feel sticky at all. It gives a soft matte finish that wears comfortably throughout the day without drying my lips. I also really like the applicator—it’s precise and easy to use. Definitely feels more high-end than the price. I’ll be buying more shades!

Long lasting, great matte look... textured dry (after a long day), but smudge free! 👌Longevity:Long lasting, and I can intensify the color if I want to. The photo is after a long day, you can still see the color pigmentation on my lips after I brushedmy teeth.

I do love this lipstick but keep in mind if you do more than one coat to make it darker, it does get sticky and will transfer to cups, straws. If you’re going for just one coat it’s perfect!
