Works as expected. The quality is okay. I was able to add Oculink to my main gaming rig and add an external GPU via Oculink. Recognized the card and installed the driver via Windows Update. Get the PCIe x16 version if you have a desktop as it's much faster than the other sizes. Was able to upgrade my 1660 to Radeon RX 7600M eGPU quickly.

Easy upgrade on PC
Upgraded my workstation computer, from a mini 3060 to a 4090, works fantastic, had no problems so far.

MS-01, and it worked fine with the DEG1 external GPU adapter.
Used this board with my MS-01, and it worked fine with the DEG1 external GPU adapter. I had problems with the drivers in proxmox, but I don't think this was caused by the adapter.

Plug and play
This was plug and play for me. I am using a generic egpu dock with oculink support and a nvidia t4 and no issues in either windows or Linux on an other wise stock Dell desktop.

Works for EGPU.
Works great! Plugged into the pcie 5.0 slot of asrock z890i and connected to the MINISFORUM DEG1 External GPU Dock Station with a gtx 1070.

Simple to install, does exactly what it should
Absolutely plug and play; used with an RTX 3060 GPU and it just works.

Huge PCIE to cpu/memory bottleneck with only 4 lanes… love to see an x8 or x16 of these
X4 lanes of pcie 4.0 is terrible for AI workloads memory to cpu throughout extremely bottlenecked, barely useable for modern games as well.
