I recently got a short haircut for the summer and I wanted to use the old Butch wax product for styling my hair.I needed a soft brush to work the Butch wax into my hair. My scalp is sensitive to hard bristle brushes and my short haircut makes it even more sensitive. The descriptions of the brushes on the website were very helpful in choosing the right one and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out at home. My scalp loves this brush, and it is perfect for my short haircut. I don't know if this brush is designed for my type of hair, I don't have a wave but I love this brush!The follow-up detailed instructions for cleaning the brush is another testimony to a company that truly cares about customer satisfaction.

To start, I'm a medium texture curl, tender headed.Now, this brush is definitely one of the best Medium-Soft brushed I've ever used! 11 row diagonal, LONG bristles, nice THICK wood for good handling (and indentation would be nice like some of Brush Kings other palms).Color is different than picture, it's more of a coffee-with-a-good-amount-of-cream-white with a red logo, but the paint job is still good.The thing about the softness is, I'd say most casual brushes that are 'medium' end up with this texture, but Brush King's medium-soft is definitely in between a true medium, and soft. Note, this brush might be on the 'softer' end for coarse/curlier hair textures.Anyway, another A1 hit for Brush King, don't stop making them palm brushes BK! If you're on the fence for a BK brush, don't even trip, read the description for what texture brush you're looking for, and get you one, waver or not!

Recently purchased this for my teenage son that was in dire need of good, sturdy brush. He loves it! It came right on time, brand new out of the package and has met every standard that he was looking for. I really appreciate the quality of this brush, it is nice to know that we finally have something that will last a long time. Thank you!

Best used in 3rd phase of a brush session on a wolf or un-ragging session in the morning . Outstanding pull and will lay down your wolf greatly with added definition seeing that it's an 11 row as well. Will be my soft vertical brush on a fresh cut too. Love it.

well built brush, You can see/feel the quality of the brush, this brush in particular is a little softer than i thought it would be but overall stiall a great brush

I haven’t gotten a haircut to start from scratch but this has been already one of my favorite brushes ever I can’t want to purchase more in the future.
