A good purchase
Used this both on the dog, his bedding, and carpet and soft furnisings where he lays. The solution has a pleasant smell. We have noticed a marked reduction in the number of fleas to almost zero. It doesn't kill all fleas, so you will still have to make regular checks from time to time.

A REPELLANT only.
Fleas! A lot of us dog owners will experience these little critters at some point. This product, is first and foremost a repellent. From reading the reviews, i can see People are buying it as a way to treat an existing infestation. But it is clearly stated on the products packaging that this is purely repellent. The packaging unfortunately isn’t very detailed about what it does exactly but from what we know about repellents is they act as a barrier. once fleas are in place, you will need stronger products, which I recommend purchasing from your Vet. I find the flea tablets work very well for my dog but they are pricey. so let’s talk about the smell. I happen to really adore the smell. The primary scent is clove, so if you’re not a fan of that then you will probably find it an unpleasant fragrance. Fortunately my dog seems to love being sprayed with this and appears to like the smell which makes two of us. Once applied I rubbed it into his coat with my fingers, washing my hands afterwards of course. I noticed two dead fleas on my fingers so I’m not sure if the product actually killed them or not. This product will not kill the eggs, so I would recommend using small amounts several times a day. The temptation is to saturate your dogs coat with the products, but I wouldn’t do this and would simply apply a light mist over your dog 2 to 3 times a day

Wonderful!
I don't mind using chemicals, but having a natural repellent is, of course, better. I've been using this for a couple of years now. I wasn't certain that it worked, but kept using it, anyway. I tend to spray his harness before putting it on him, rather than spray directly on him, as he's not keen on that. A while back he had a joint grooming appointment with his friend who lives nearby. She found fleas on his friend, but not a single sign of one on my boy. That is surprising, as they see each other and play together almost every day. The only thing I'd used was this spray. Despite being a country boy, he has also not had any ticks since using it. It's not a destroyer of fleas - it's a repellent. If your pooch already has fleas, you need to get something else. I still pop the chemical drops on him occasionally, like if we're going away and I feel a bit of extra protection might be needed. I don't know why some people aren't having the same success with it. Maybe, in the way perfumes react and smell differently with different people, the same is true of this and it just doesn't work with some dogs? As a bonus, I react badly to insect bites, but have had very few since using this on my dog. Enough of it must get on me to put them off. Unfortunately, the evil horseflies don't seem to mind it, though!

Tick Repellent
Updated Review: (After 1-Month's Use)... Sadly, had to scale down from a 5* to 3* rating now we're in 'full force of tick season in the UK'... Product doesn't work anywhere near as well as I had hoped/initially thought. Where I walk my dogs is currently rife with deer ticks (so admittedly won't help), but despite spraying regularly, daily, prior to walks, I am finding between 2 - 6 ticks land on each dog daily. They aren't remotely deterred in hindsight. Whether it prevents them 'latching on' remains to be seen. (I spot them, remove them and kill them as much as possible prior to that stage) but they certainly aren't put off by the smell in the first instance and I have still found a few ticks attach within a one-hour walk! 😩)... I will sadly, be looking to other products. (Maybe Rose Geranium/Lavender which ticks supposedly hate?) Overall, I think this product is helping to deter ticks. It's not perfect (but neither are the chemical treatments from the vets). I am still seeing ticks landing on the dogs occasionally, but not so often and it does give me some peace of mind. I like that you can use it daily prior to a walk (also on your own clothes/dogs bedding etc). Dogs aren't fans of being sprayed, but needs must and it seems to be 'kind' to their skin with no irritation. I'm using in conjunction with Bravecto from vets (which kills ticks if they latch on) but doesn't repel them in the first instance. Having had the nasty little critters switch from the dogs to me, it was time for more drastic measures. Early days, but fingers crossed this product holds promise in repelling ticks during the season.

Didn't stop the fleas. A nit comb did
My Lab likes to run in our local park, which is full of long grass, rabbits, and fleas. I spray him every morning with this but it didn't stop him getting fleas, badly. I used this in conjunction with a stronger drop applied once a week natural/eco solution and I have to conclude that neither of them worked. I'm reluctant to use poisons on my dog so the options are limited. I intend to increase the spraying with this to see if that helps but I'm not confident. They suggest 3 trigger pulls, I will be doubling that to 6 for my large Lab. I used a specialist shampoo to get rid of the fleas. I will update this review if increasing the spraying works. UPDATE. It didn't work. I thought that I was winning until I went through his coat with a nit comb. There were hundreds of the b#####s. Dipping the nit comb in warm soapy water made them stick to it and they were easily removed into a bucket of water where they quickly drowned. I'm going to do this once a week through the flea season. Oh and the flea shampoo had no effect.

Will they work!!!!
Fast delivery, not sure how they’ll work yet. Not keen on these type of wipes that you have to pull through a central hole, never usually work from experience. But!! The important thing is will they help get rid of fleas on my dog..
