If your kids or even yourself are fans of the latest fad of Balisong or Butterfly practice knives (the blades are not sharpened) then you have quickly realized that they are poorly constructed and cannot withstand the constant dropping that come with learning a new skill. The TORX screws come loose with every drop and eventually go missing to strip out with all the times it requires re-tightening.You probably won't find these stepped screws at your local hardware store and looking online or the other big auction site, for replacements. So far here on Amazon was the only place that I have found them.PROS: exact replacement for the current crop of practice butterfly/balisong knives, comes with the proper TORX took to mount them.CONS: no way to lock them down without coming loose. Even with using thread locking fluid, they still come loose. They cost about the same as new replacement knife.OVERALL: Recommended because you can't buy them locally.

My son has gone through a half dozen inexpensive butterfly knives. These fixed up a few of the ones that had gotten really loose. The biggest problem was disassembling the knives we put locktite on. These seem to hold better than the originals. Even if they prove to be the same over time, you get 5 knife refreshes per pack.

Work well and the tool is good, the screws will back out after a little use

The screws were just a little big for some of my knives but still worked more or less

Garbage. The screws don't fit the bolts you can screw them down kind of... But you can pull them apart with your fingers. Also as you can see from the photo not all of the bolts have a torx head.

Does the job for the Balisong I have.
