I found this unit to be easy to install and compact though it has a large 7" screen. It does not obstruct my vision of the road ahead. It is easy to use and has a bright display. The instruction booklet explains all its features. It is inexpensive and does most things the individual non-commercial user might need. It speaks several languages and speaks in male of female voices. I like the British female. I call her "Fiona." It's a pleasure to have her nag me when i exceed the speed limit or miss a turn.

Just received the GPS Navigator for a much needed and early Father's Day gift for my 90 yo Dad. Guess what?! This device won't let me input/find Dad's address because device maps are NOT up-to-date as advertised. What to do about that? I followed directions in instructions/last page and emailed seller only to find out this is no longer the seller! Yep. There's a new seller. Next, chatted with Amazon who linked me with current seller so I could ask for a link to update maps...and now, I get to wait a couple of days for a reply. What the hey?! Should I just return this GPS and start over, maybe at BestBuy? I think that sounds like a plan.

When I saw the box that it came in I was impressed, I just knew that the GPS system would going to be great. I like how you can transmit by FM audio signal to your FM radio to broadcast The voice through your car speakers, making it even more easy to hear the instructions. This thing is packed full of surprises. And the biggest thing that I like about it, it frees up your cell phone so you can use it for other than GPS. Since I'm on a limited data usage for my cell phone, usually when I use my phone GPS I would go over my allotted amount. This is the cost saver to me, we all need to be wise and not wasting money especially these days.When you plug the power cord into the cigarette lighter, there's a little light that glows to let you know that you do have connection and inot only its charging the GPS up, but it also powers the GPS.Most of the other GPS unit companies, charges you after the first year for any map updates. It could not be easier to use their system as in you get a lifetime free map updates. Very easy to update it. You can either connect it to your computer, or if you don't feel like taking it out of your car, you can transfer it over to a mini SD card and update it that way. Very very convenient.I like that it has a calculator built in as well as a converter, as in convert currency from one country to another, not only that, but the length weight cubic inches or cubic meters or whatever you want to do square power pressure speed is very impressive.This thing even has a video player, you can view your photos, ebooks and even a flash video player. For the price of a comma you can buy another one and have it in the backseat for your children to watch videos, keeping them occupied and allowing you to concentrate on driving.It comes with a built-in 16 GB, 6.7 GB is used by the system allowing you to do many map updates.

has trouble or cant find locations you type in it. not giving proper speed all the time constantly giving you wrong speed zones telling you your going over the speed limit when your not .

I don’t know if it is me but I cannot get new addresses in . It only locates certain places. Needless to say, I have gone back to using my phone

Definitely worth the money. It's very inexpensive but does the same job as a much higher one. I will be buying more for other vehicles
