Pro-Tekt® 0-0-3 Silicon Supplement for Plants, 1 qt

I bought this for my varigated plants. I had no issues with the seal coming off in transit or the bottle being damaged. It's easy to use. I just pour it into a olant designated measuring spoon. So far I really think I see a difference in browning. I also don't lose leaves when I repot plants anymore which is great. This bottle is the perfect size for the price and it will last me a very long time. My plants had no bad reactions to this amd they are all still healthy. Pro-Tekt is a high quality add in to your normal fertilizer. Make sure you add it to your water first and then add your other amendments.

One of the best fertilizer groups out there is dyna gro. Protekt helps make your plants stronger and also helps protekt them from certain nasty's that can hit your plants. Its a must to build strong healthy plants. I use their full lineup with complete confidence. This works well after plants bloom. Where i moved to closest dealer is 2.5 hours away. So i was forced to purchase on amazon. have been using Dyna Gro since the 90s. I also use, grow, foliage pro, protekt, and their neem oil which always are the best values around for the most packed nutrient system you can find on the market. No one compares in my opinion. Easy to use, less is more, easy to maintain proper PPM and PH levels. You cant go wrong unless you cant follow the directions. Lots of resources out there about this product. be sure the bottle you get is sealed though from amazon. Had some issues with them not shipping me a sealed bottle from the prime delivery.

When doing research to protect my plants In the Mojave Desert heat I came across silica and how it helps with heat and cold and makes the plants stronger and more resilient and I got to say this product actually works my plants are growing like trees in this weather yea I got to water them 2-3 times a day but this really works against harsh weather. I already bought two of them I use them with water and feed everytime.

Lid leaks. Maybe a one-off, but it makes a mess eveeytime the jug gets knocked over or when I shake it up. Haven't been using it long enough to rate effectiveness.

Our garden is growing and very healthy this fertilizer seems to be helping the garden tolerate the heat and elements

My second time buying - I live in four seasons Michigan and with the short summers we have , adding this to the plant care made my annuals last well into the coldest fall seasons. When all the others had wrapped up with fall cleaning, mine were still blooming. This definitely makes plants in the limited MI summer season live longer !

Wow do you get a lot of product! And you don't need a lot either, so one bottle will last you for a while. Do read the instructions first. Always add this solution first to water before adding any other soil enhancers. It will turn cloudy and clump up if you do it in the wrong order, rendering the silicon solution useless. I can't yet tell if it's making my plants stronger however it's not hurting them and they do seem quite happy. Another well received product in the plant community, will keep using. Will update if I notice anything.

Pro-Tekt seemed to help my fig plants this summer. It was used with Foliage Pro to add some protection to heat stress and to harden off the new growth in preparation for winter. I will be using this from now on.
