I have a lot of experience with anti-fatigue mats, as I use a standing desk for 6-7 hours each day at work, so I personally spend a lot of time standing on an anti-fatigue mat. I have also purchased over a hundred mats over the years for the warehousing business I help manage. This Imprint CumulusPRO is a very good mat for all-day use in an office, warehouse, or home. It has replaced my previous favorite mat.Cushion and Comfort -- The mat has a good balance between cushioning and a firm feel. It doesn't feel squishy at all, yet provides comfortable cushioning. I compared it with another mat I like from Sky Mats ( Sky Mats Anti Fatigue comfort floor Mat, 20 in x 39 Inches, Midnight Black ). The Sky Mats product has a much more deep, cushiony feel that feels great for sore feet and legs at the end of the day, but is a little too squishy for all-day use. For all-day use, I prefer the Imprint CumulusPro. That said, both mats are great, and both help avoid soreness when used all day.Non-slip backing -- Not sure if this is coated specifically with any non-slip texture, but in my experience it stays in place very well on smooth, hard floors such as concrete or tile. On carpeted flooring, it is almost impossible to move without lifting an edge. So, good non-slip properties.Lays flat -- the edges are beveled to reduce trip hazard. The mat lays very flat, without any problems with edges curling up as can happen with poor-quality mats.Appearance -- Standard matte finish, looks good, edges are cut cleanly and evenly. It maintains a nice appearance after use, hiding or resisting obvious scuff marks.Recovery ("spring back") -- when you step on a good, cushiony anti-fatigue mat, your feet will make impressions in the mat. Normally, when you step off the mat or move to a different position, the impressions in the mat will recover or spring back almost instantly, so you're always enjoying a smooth, even standing platform. Spring back with this mat is excellent, nearly instantaneous.

This. Is. Amazing.I converted my desk to a standing desk a while ago. While I was happy with the results, my feet got tired very quickly. So I moved a memory foam mat to the front of my desk. It was better, but only marginally so. I assumed that this was as good as it was going to get, and left it at that.After a while, the memory foam mat started to disintegrate, and I needed something new. I purchased this mat, and wow! I'm blown away by the difference. Now I find I can stand for up to two hours with no issues, where before I was taking sitting breaks every 30 to 45 minutes just due to fatigue.This mat is firm, but still has enough give to it that it cushions my feet nicely. It's not so soft that it requires extra work to stand on it.The edges are nicely tapered and stay down, so it's not a tripping hazard.The surface is smooth, easy to clean, not slippery, and seems very resilient, though I haven't dropped anything on it yet.I'm sorry that I waited so long to get this. It's made a huge difference in my comfort, and in my productivity.

I use this mat at my standing desk - it has eliminated the aches and pains of standing on a hard wooden floor for long periods (6+ hours). Works well with shoes and without - however as noted by other reviewers the patterning can be off-putting when barefoot. I'd have preferred one of the plain ones, but they didn't ship to Australia! I believe this is one of the thickest anti-fatigue mats on the market, and it feels great.Only downside is that it's a bit smelly when first removed from the packaging. Goes away after a week or so, but you'll probably want some ventilation!Two thumbs up for completing my standing desk setup, and an additional two for speedy delivery.

I bought this at the suggestion of a close friend about a month ago. I've been using this mat at work since that time. It replaced an old half-inch thick cushion foam mat that I'd been issued, and from the moment I stepped on it, I wondered why I'd waited so long to upgrade.I've seen others complain about a strong, long-lasting smell. I noticed a rather light rubber smell for the first day or two, but after that there's been nothing. I'm not sure what I did differently from other reviewers in this regard.I stand on the mat in sneakers mainly because I step away regularly to speak with others in the office. I've found it's also quite comfortable to stand on it in my socks, but I wouldn't go barefoot simply because I *am* at work.I think my only minor issue is that I have to adjust its position every couple of days or so. It tends to slide around a few inches, and I'm not really sure how I'm causing it. It's sitting on the hard, flat carpeted floor you often find in offices. I've attached a photo in case you're unfamiliar with what I mean. I'm guessing the mat stays put better on a smooth stone or tile surface.It's a mat, and it's been comfortable for me to stand on for 8 hours a day. I have no complaints at all and am quite pleased with it.

We purchased 2 of these mats to go in front of the stove, and kitchen sink - the 2 places we spend the most time standing. They are well worth the price, and so comfortable! They are non skid, and feel very supportive under your feet. Before we got these new anti fatigue mats, I would eventually get back pains when standing for a long time over the kitchen sink.... now I feel like I can comfortably stand for hours, washing all the baking dishes that my wife packs into the sink! But seriously, these mats are great, and I'm so glad we got them!

After buying a sit/stand desk I realized I was having pain in my feet so I figured that I needed a mat like this. I didn't really have a high expectation that this would fix my problem because I've never used one of these mats before so I didn't know what to expect. I figured it would add some softness but the claims about being able to stand for 8 hours without pain seemed a little outrageous. Immediately after taking it out of the box I was impressed with the quality (The packaging not so much though....very cheap box). I loved that the logo is on the bottom and not visible). The size is perfect as well. It allows me to move around which is needed to help relieve pressure from the knees downwards). The thickness is perfect too, I don't feel the floor through it even if I put all my weight on one foot, it compresses but still feels like a cushion. Within a few days the pain in my foot disappeared and I was able to stand for much longer than before buying the mat. It's also been a month and a half and it still feels brand new. So happy I bought this! thinking of buying one for my kitchen now...why did I wait so long to discover this????

This product does exactly what is says it will - it is very comfortable and after trying to not use a mat for a week first, it has helped ease the pressure on my knees so that I can stand up for longer stretches.

For this price point I expected a much better mat. The edges don't stay flat to the ground, greatly increasing the risk of tipping and the mat itself started deforming just over a month of normal daily use. I don't recommend. There are cheaper mats on the market which meet greater quality standards.
