Slow and repetitive
This game is very cute, but far too expensive for how shallow an experience it really is. As much as I like the art style and the premise, the actual gameplay borders on mundane for large chunks which is very disappointing because I really wanted to like this game. Half of the game is a slog through the overworld while you search for ingredients or recipe fragments, and the other half is a button pushing mini game to actually cook the recipes which gets really old, really fast. It wouldn't be too bad if more than three sequences showed up during the button pressing mini game.I liked that the dragons colours would change depending on what you fed it, but getting it to grow up was a chore. There were even some moments I genuinly enjoyed while I was playing the game, and for some people the cute art style and the ability to change the restaurants menu around would be enough but even as someone who likes casual games, I found this to be too slow and repetitive for my tastes.

Not a physical game!
The image preview for this item does NOT include the “no game included digital copy only” sticker which appears on the box!I ordered it because I wanted a game card version! If you want this game Argos has it (a box with a download code inside) for £7.99 and even if you get it delivered it’s still cheaper than this copy.

Cute & Unique
If you are looking for something to hop into for some downtime and relaxation then I highly recommend you taking a look at Dragon Cafe. It's a really charming unique game with unique graphics and storyline.I love how laid back the gameplay is, its a nice change from being thrown into the deep end as most games tend to do. You start off helping your mum out in the family cafe with your sister to moving on to explore bigger and better things! (No spoilers here :P)I highly recommend giving this title a try especially for the price!

Charming 5/5
Lovely little RPG, something for everyone. Another fantastic and whimsical game from them :) If you enjoy Animal Crossing / Story of Seasons get this. 5/5

Style over Substance
Very pretty cute game. Lovely to look at and a really interesting idea....but that's all there is there. It's repetitive, dull and dumb. The cooking mini game is annoying. The characters are annoying. The controls are sluggish and unintuitive. The story isn't even a story, it's other people's stories. I've been playing for about two/three hours and am bored. Maybe I expected too much

A tad boring.....
I've been after this game for a while- so when I saw it dropped to £20 I had to grab it- and I have to say I'm glad I only paid £20 for it.It's a little dull- maybe it's because I'm not that far into it- but I'm not excited enough by the gameplay to carry on.My 4 year old likes it- thats why I've given it 3* instead of 1 or 2I was kinda hoping for an animal crossing/harvest moon kinda vibe- but it's just not working for me.

Dragon crossing.
Very cute art style similar the Windwaker, it's not very hardcore however it's nice to chill out and relax playing this while I'm waiting for Animal Crossing.

Relaxing, beautiful RPG fun.
Beautiful RPG game with hours and hours of gameplay. I still haven’t finished the story yet and feel it’s more than worth the price. It’s a simple game but the story is lovely, quite often very funny and for those into games like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, this is a must buy. Who doesnt want their own pet dragon?
