I started making candles about 3 years ago and one of the most important parts of creating candles is having a reliable wax melting pot. Previously, I had a different brand melting pot and within 6-8 months it began giving me issues. Before purchasing a new one I did alot of research and read a lot of reviews and decided on a ToAuto melting pot. I found that this melting pot heats up evenly and consistently. Once the wax is melted I find the temperature stays around the range i have the pot temperature set at and fluctuates maybe 1-2 degrees or so but its within the range, no issue there. This pot has a drain in the bottom so you never need to worry about if the amount of wax in the pot will reach the spigot; however, don't run the pot completely dry so you don't damage it. Also the spigot is heated which is great in preventing any clogging! I’ve had such a good experience using this melting pot and now that my small business is getting a little bigger, I now have two ToAuto wax melting pots and i couldn't be happier with them. They are great for both beginners and experienced candle makers.

Buttons don’t turn it on. I used it once for last years wax season. Went to use it today and it lights up when plugged in but buttons won’t work to turn it on. I took it apart on the bottom and nothing is unplugged or has burn marks it looks normal. The control panel is junk! Doesn’t do any good if I can’t turn it on and now I can’t return it. This is expensive for a one use product! Shame on this company.

I recommend placing the pot so that the spout is over your sink, if possible, there will be a few residual drips after turning it off and that makes clean up easier. There is only a small amount of wax left at the bottom that will need to be poured out, the spout can't really be placed any lower to avoid this, so even though that has been a review complaint, I don't think it's design flaw. The only drawback, watch your temperature closely, there are heat settings, however, it gets hotter than what it is set for. As long as you are prepared and have your thermometer close by, this isn't really an issue. But, definitely not a set it and forget it option, ha! Lastly, it is very easy to clean, just wipe it out while it's still warm and it looks brand new!
