Old trapper was a gem I found while on a roadtrip out to Baltimore at a small hole in the wall gas station. Since then there's been no jerky that even comes close to the level of quality. The taste is rich, the meat itself nicely smoked, and not too tough but not too moist, resulting in nice balance of bite and texture. I prefer jerky that's more on the firm and tougher side, which makes this jerky well and truly the best I've ever had. The price is a bit on the higher side for 10ozs of meat, but compared to Jack links at the same price for less meat, I have to say overall I would buy Old Trapper over Links anyday.

Gave as a stocking gift to my brother in law who eats keto. He loved it and said it was fresh & delicious.
