Clamp is a. It flimsy but so far has held. The part which holds my device moves constantly but the cord is really stiff and at times it is hard to adjust

It works fine and does what I expected. Keep in mind the goose neck is very strong and hard to configure. But once you have it in place, it stays there. Would buy again

When you read "Gooseneck" in the description - this isn't really gooseneck. I suspect it's the same for items to similar to this on Amazon but essentially it's just a coated piece of flexible metal. It will break eventually - just a matter of when. When you see gooseneck lamps at IKEA or even furniture stores - they're made up of many pieces strung together so that you can actually adjust the neck easily. Returning....
