Absolutely adorable!! Greatest thing I ever bought for my tree!

We plugged it all in, got the batteries set up, it didn’t work and got super hot immediately. We went to take out the batteries to make sure they were in right and a bunch of pieces from the circuit board came falling out. We were really looking forward to this for our kids but it’s a dud unfortunately.

This item arrived next day,securely packed,undamaged,and as described.Enclosed with one wand,a three prong receiver,screwdriver,and instructions,this item will surely put the magic back into the holiday season.However you will need two AA batteries,which aren't included to operate the unit as it is not chargeable.The item works beautifully,the star illuminates and plays a whimsical sound consistent with magic wands seen in cartoons.Designed with two operating modes either by waving it around,or by pressing a button.In my opinion this will undoubtedly enchant all who see it in action,especially children,when used to operate Christmas trees or other decor.However as much as I do like this item,I find it to be a bit overpriced.Concurrently the wand is wrapped in something similar to contact paper,which is already coming unglued,due to poor manufacturing.In conclusion this can be a wonderful new way to impress family and friends,while simultaneously bringing a smile to their faces.My four star rating is based on pricing,and poor manufcaturing.Hopefully this manufacturer will resolve these issues.Doing so will dramatically increase sales,and provide consumers with a better constructed item that will last for holidays to come.

The media could not be loaded. A little pricey, but totally worth it. Works like a charm! My 2 and 4-year old were able to turn the lights on and off with just a wave of the wand. Highly recommend. It’s really fun

While this is designed mainly for kids, this 67-year-old grandmother LOVES this thing. It's SO fun to just wave my magic wand to turn on the Christmas tree lights. Even better, it plays a magical sound and the end lights up. You have to buy two AA batteries for the wand. The whole thing is a bit pricey, but I feel like it's worth it for the magic, especially if you have young kids or grandkids. Using this puts a smile on my face even when the grandkids aren't around. LOVE IT!

Opened the wand and tested it out and now my tree won't even come on Bought a 20$ product just to ruin a 500$tree 😔

I wish they had something like this when I was younger, it's so cool! I love seeing the smile on my son's face when he turns the tree lights on thinking he has magical powers!For the review complaining about having to take out a screw to change the batteries - it's a required safety feature. You can't have a toy with batteries that kids can open themselves and get to the battery compartment. Every single toy with batteries out there needs a screw removed to get to them. If it didn't, it wouldn't pass safety requirements and I certainly wouldn't let my child play with it.

Is this ever fun! I cannot wait until Christmas so I can demonstrate my magic powers using this magical wand.I took it out to the packaging as soon as it arrived to test it. Putting the batteries in was just a little awkward. I hate to have to use a screw driver to get to a battery compartment. That is a waste of everyone's time and I don't know why any manufacturer designs something like that.On the positive side, it works like a charm (no pun intended). I plugged the receiver in and then connected a light string. When I pushed the button and waved the wand, the lights came on. Repeat and the light went out. Oh, boy! This will be so much fun when the grandkids are gathered around.It would have been 5 stars, except for the dumb decision to make you have to use a screwdriver to change the batteries. Excpet for that, this is a great item.
