Works for me
67 yo retired woman- I swim in local heated but open to air pool- I had a one piece wetsuit which works well but is hard to get in and out of - the accompanying wetsuit top isn't easy either but when desperate to go to the bathroom the top doesn't matter- this combo is warm for swimming and solves the problem

Very High Quality Neoprene Shorts - Perfect When a Full Wetsuit Isn't needed
I didn't think the smell was that bad honestly. They smell like neoprene which isn't horrible to me. They come nicely packaged in a baggy. No bad folds from packaging. They unfold nicely. Give them a few shakes and a rinse and you should be good to go.The stitching is very nice. I personally like how it's black on black. Not a fan of showing off contrast stitching. All seams are professionally done. It's 3mm thick which is a little better than 2mm so they feel very durable and will probably last a while.I am 6'2" and size 34 waist and the medium fits perfectly and snuggly. I am never a medium, but with these I was. I referenced their size chart and they fit me nice and snug. These shorts are longer than other neoprene shorts I saw so that is a nice touch. The logos as pictured are not too bad. They blend in well. Though not sure about the recycled part. Usually if a garment is made with recycled material the sewn in label will state recycled. Unless the neoprene is from recycled wetsuits? Not sure honestly what it means.Overall they are very high quality neoprene shorts. Look at the sizing chart and that should help you get the right size. Remember you want them tight and not loose think about that when getting your size. They should be a little challenging to get on and then stay securely in place.

Well made and fitting neoprene shorts
I was looking for some good wetsuit shorts for the cooler weather coming up. I looked at several pairs - too short, too long, too thick, etc. etc. However these are just about right. The only drawback is they run a little on the small side, so keep that in mind.

high quaility wetsuit shorts
What I got is the Men version of wetsuit. It is made of thick material with high quality as you can see from the pictures: well made stitches, no thread exposed. The material feels great and it definitely keeps you warm. It is very helpful when you swim in the open water, especially when the water is a bit cold.I am 5'10 with 150 lbs and it fits me really well and when I put it on, I feel comfortable when I swim.

SIze chart is accurate
First off, the size chart was accurate. She is 5'7" 120 lbs and the small fits well. The material is neoprene which is what wetsuits are made of. It is stretchy like the new wetsuits, not stiff like the old style ones were. It seems well made, was easy for her to put on and she says it is comfortable.A note to anybody that is not used to wearing a wetsuit. They are meant to fit tightly, like compression tight. They are also made of rubber with a lot of air bubbles in it. This is what provides the insulation. It also adds a lot a buoyancy. So, you are going to float a bit more than you would in a regular swim suit or pair of shorts. The water will get in at the ends, so the waist and legs. It is water proof otherwise. So it is great for something like canoeing, kayaking, etc. where you end up getting splashed or sitting in a shallow puddle. It should prevent you from getting wet in those situations. So if you wear a pair of shorts of something underneath they should stay dry Note this will not keep them dry if you are immersed in water. Only from splashes because when immersed the water will enter at the openings; waist and legs.
