Likely the best value modern “hub” on the internet. It says hub, but if you provide your own usb c power adapter, it turns this thing instantly into a minimalist docking station. Of course, there is no power supplied with it, you need to provide that yourself, but that also means less heat build up and makes this extremely portable and small. I’ve had no dead ports or issues with compatibility, everything works at the standard rates, and the quality seems quite good. I’ve had other plugable docks, so I was already a fan.

I have really liked this USB C Hub. It covers multiple types of connectors and keeps everything together from my different devices. I found when I bought a new computer, I needed to be able to use ports that weren't included with the new one. Such as some of my flash drives.

I bought this item a few weeks ago for my new Mac mini. Mac minis do not come w/ an overabundance of connections and no USB 2.0, which is pretty much what I had been using. It took a little doing but I got the Plugable HUB working best when connected to the Thunderbolt 4 ports. The only outstanding issues are with the SD ports. I could not get my current SD to work and I did not have any micro SDs to try. Everything else seemed to work great. The customer support (Michael S and et al) was AMAZINGLY SUPER. Their attention to my problems was outstanding. A few times we even corresponded multiple times via email the same day. I would have actually given this item 4 stars had it not been for the customer support. I give their customer support a 10!

Absolutely fantastic customer support! This item worked great for 3 months until one morning the Enet port failed. I contacted Plugable by email and was sent some diagnostic software which created a log that I sent back. They acknowledged an internal failure and sent a new item - all in less than a week!. It has worked flawlessly so far. And a week after I got it, they sent a followup email to check on my satisfaction. BTW, it works perfectly with my 2025 M4 Macbook

Overall the hub is useful. The HDMI port does do 60hz and the 1G ethernet port works as expected. I was disappointed that the USB C 10Gbps port doesn't seem to work well with my OWC 1M2 enclosure. The read/write speeds are abysmal, rather than the 3,000gbs read/write I get when it's directly connected to the thunderbolt 4 port on the macbook air m4 instead I am getting around 250Mbps read/write. YMMV of course depending on the enclosure used. I don't have a different one to test with so keep this in mind. I would have given it 5 stars if if it wasn't for that issue.

After searching through USB-C hubs and docking stations and shuddering at the cost of docking stations. I finally found this USB Hub. I have a MacBook Pro 16" M4 device and wanted to have one cable to connect it to my monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. This was exactly what I was looking for. With 140W power pass through, it easily lets me connect my laptop to my devices. I also get full HDR support to my monitor at 60hz which is perfect as that's all my monitor does. :) I would recommend this hub over the pricier docking stations. It works well for me, I think it will work well for you. UPDATE: ======= I was mistaken on the power pass through. For whatever reason, it doesn't work for me. I had my Macbook die after a few days because it wasn't drawing power (or enough power) to handle keep it going. Not a big deal, the rest of the replicator works just fine.

This worked great until I touched it one day and burned my hand. I only had the power cable plugged into it, and one other USB device (a web cam) and the computer was in sleep mode. it was inappropriately hot for just sitting with the laptop in sleep. I liked it and it worked great but I'm starting to wonder if my webcam (that was working great) started to misbehave because it was plugged into the hub and the hub heat impacted it.

The product page provides wrong information. The PD charging is around 100W not 140W. I plug in a 130W charger through this hub and the laptop BIOS complains low power charging. Also, the hub is not compatible with MAC OS.

I bought this product and it failed 2 months later. I expected better but the sales department told me that the product has a 2 year warranty and they are in the process of replacing it. Excellent and fast support. It is well built and presented and I'm hoping that the new one lasts longer!

I am a little dissapointed that HDMI cannot do 120hz. Get the USB4 hub if you dont travel. Its much more versatile.

Works....and more...it's under described. It does it all and the only issue I have is that it runs a little warm for my liking.

Very solid build quality with a nice aluminum chassis. Lots of useful ports and a perfect companion to my MacBook!
